Yes, the keys have their region lock from the original buyer country.

Standard Edition not supporting DX11 while Ultimate does is just weird, and probably a very unexpected problem for anyone buying the bundle that're still using Windows 7.

Such a hassle just to publish DLC-less version..

Standard edition is now about 35gb (I don't remember exactly). Which makes sense considering it doesn't have the dlc. This now officially makes the previous, dx12 only standard edition the largest version of the game in file size. Why, I guess we'll never know.

I'm just glad dx11 is now available. I found it really strange the lack of executables in the game's folder, the fact I could still activate ray tracing (despite setting -dx11 launch setting), and that my game ran fine in terms of fps but it didn't feel fine. It was probably some bad frame pacing, and now I know it was being caused by dx12. Begone, cursed twelfth.

The ultimate edition is able to reduce some of the duplicate data in the DLC files since its all part of the single install. That's how its able to save space.

Both the base game and the new package containing the DLCs are called "Ultimate Edition".
If you have a key from this bundle, use the search "870780" when creating a giveaway (or "Control Ultimate Edition", but from the list pick the entry with app/870780 and a *)

Initially both the game and the package including the DLCs were available, but a couple of hours after the bundle released, SG removed the package from the list so now there's only one entry and that one corresponds to the item featured in this bundle.

That's deal is for first-time subscribers. So you can make a new account and get that deal (try to use a different payment method because humble is an a** with us having multiple accounts).

You can cancel/pause anytime. You're not locked in with this deal.

First of all, a run lock is effective only during the first 3 months after activation, so it's not really a big deal if a game has one as long as you can wait a few months until you play it.
I don't think there are packages that have a run lock without having a region lock as well, so having a run lock is not actually relevant in terms of gifting; what matters is only the region lock.

If you belong to a region that receives a region-locked key, then you can't gift it to someone outside that region.
If you belong to a region that receives a region-free key (we call it "ROW" usually, although ROW can still be restricted for some specific countries; when this happens, the countries are mentioned in the OP) then you can trade it to any other region because it activates anywhere..
Keep in mind that the notifications for the gift link are misleading and even if you receive a region-free key, you will still see a list of countries when you create the gift link. That's why we try to compile on this thread the real region locks.

So basically to answer your questions:

If I have a game such as Ageless, which has region lock but NOT run lock, can I gift to somebody in a different region?

No. You can gift it only if your key is ROW (you're outside RU/CIS, LATAM, SEA, Africa, ME).
You live in Europe, your key is ROW, any of these countries above will be able to activate it.

And the other way around, if Ageless has only region lock but NOT run lock, can I activate a key that's locked e.g. LATAM?

No, a LATAM locked key can be activated only by LATAM people, regardless of whether it has a run lock or not.

Before I saw this topic I always thought that region lock meant: "Can only BUY + ACTIVATE in the same country/region" but now I'm not sure.

Region lock means that only the customers from those countries receive a key that can be activated in their region.
Run lock means that on top of your regional restriction, you also have a run restriction for the first 3 months (you can play the game only in that region).

Maybe they will offer Monster Train, which just got a paid DLC.

They handled it poorly but I don't find it inherently shade to have a game (a proper full game not a microtransaction hell) dirt cheap in a bundle and then hope people will buy its DLC at some point. Unless you consider the notion of DLC itself shady, of course.

I really hope for something different. I actually hunt for Final Fantasy XV and wait till they give it to Humble Choice or something. Games like Monster Hunter World would also be welcomed. I would laugh if they were giving Cyberpunk 😂 Though it's not the game I really want that much.

Billing date and release date both changed recently so that may have thrown you off. As long as you've not revealed any keys ypu shouldn't have any issues getting a refund.

Yes, I once asked for a refund because, just like you, I was so sure I had paused. I did get a refund without any hassle, just had to give them a proof of the transaction. I'm not sure exactly when that happened, but it was for a Choice bundle.

Edit: I was refunded in June of last year.

I had this once. The money was returned, but they said it was the first and last time, because it was my fault.

This month is not that bad, Elex is great game, I could not stop playing it....and played 58hours in just 2 weeks ! :-) (But at start, it is very hard game)

And if you really do not want that month, then write to support, they will return your money. I did this just once.

Just started playing it and have no issues with performance (while streaming). At start it put everything on low-medium but i`ve put everything on high and have no issues (90 fps when idle and 70-75 fps when in fight). While in Cyberpunk i had few issues in buggy parts of town with drops to 30 sometimes. Control runs much smoother that Cyberpunk for me.

Yeah, found the gameplay a bit disappointing - did not grab me, but may try go a bit longer and see. Performance and graphics I thought was pretty good though.
edit: Just remembered - performance was great, then they released the dx11 patch (even though am using dx12) and the performance took a massive dive - can't remember which graphic option had been enabled after that patch, but toggling off was very smooth again.

I'm curious, what do you mean you're not comfortable with the gameplay?
