That sucks -- don't know if yours were made by SeaGate, but I guess they tend to be worse than others so you may want to avoid them in the future.

Mostly because I'm an idiot. I went out and bought a few flash drives right after it happened to use as additional backups which will hopefully keep that from happening again.

They'll wait until you've almost finished something important and then fail; Skynet is powered by our misery. On the bright side, this did give me an excuse to upgrade to a SSD. I just hope this one doesn't decide to join the robot rebellion like the others did.

My hard drive died at the beginning of last month died and less than 24 hours later my backup drive also died and I lost several 20 page papers. So I got to spend half my summer rewriting papers I already wrote. To honor Skynet's successful attempt to piss me off and waste my time (and because I haven't made many GAs for the last month or so) I figure I might as well make a train of random bundle games.
