Just offering my opinion, I think it comes down to whether you find the games dropped by Lootboy to be something worth taking a punt for. The flow of diamonds now is miniscule now, it's taken a bit over 3 months of getting the login bonuses and the daily 5 Ad diamond packs for me to get back to just over 1000 diamonds. You could do offers on the paywall thingy but I'm wary for the time being of putting that kind of effort if Lootboy is indeed on its last legs, plus on getting a bit more picky about what I install on my PC and phone and am well and truly tired of dodgy survey providers.
Everyone's experience will vary. Absolutely most, if not all the games Lootboy drops are found on bundles repeated many times, especially the Fanatical mystery ones. Hells, some of them even get dropped by the IndieGala challenges when they work. Of course there's no guarantee what you'll get, when I cleared out my diamonds a few months ago (4x25 and a few single packs) it started off well enough but the last two x25s really started giving out duplicates, even triplicates for a couple of games. I suppose everyone has to decide if the effort checking in every day is worth that kind of blind chance of getting Deponia again..... And to say nothing about crossing your fingers hoping for Steam credit, which I never once encountered myself.
Personally I'll keep chugging at it till I get to 1250, enough for 10 packs and in theory 10 games if I'm lucky and then I'll see if it's worth anymore effort. For the time being it only takes up about 5 mins every day depending how cooperative the app is but beyond that I don't know. Overall if it ends I'd say I walk away somewhat in front for my investment of time/data/energy but not by a huge amount.

I was wondering if there still were the daily 5 diamond ad packs, seems like we're still punished in France for whatever reason. So yes, after a few packs post near death announcement from LB, i've been grinding since, and at 750, i think i will simply get them, i don't know why they're keeping it alive like that.

Besides what Mhol1071 said, literally thinking they're switching from Global app into more restricted region one, mostly benefits DACH countries aka the classic 3 (Austria, Germany, Switzerland)
Besides that I don't see they have any common/regular update from place outside there anymore.
Now idk if people who are in there or who "has travelled there" during their shutdown announcement are still getting those bonuses or being punished by "travelling". Otherwise there seems like no reason to have a region not in those 3 countries for LootBoy anymore.

not unexpected, but fyi, all 3 codes I had saved in a file for "The Deed: Dynasty" are already used. First game I've hit where more than one, yet alone all 3 keys, were already used. Didn't even get to have a working copy for my library. Also, the cards were not just scratched.

damn, just spent the last 1250 diamonds the day before yesterday. got such terrible games that I turned them all into diamonds, got even worse games on them, and completely deleted the app. let them die in agony without me. but I would get at least some result through VPN with this event :(

Maybe because those 3 countries are at the moment the "savest" for them to make and get their money.
If your budget is (almost) gone you can't risk not getting paid.

I hear people complaining about duped or not working keys here all the time. (back in the days)
But for me....living in germany...all the keys I got worked everytime.
I even got some more money off a paysafe card because they sent me an old code, which had less value as intended because there was some upkeep fee from paysafe. They got me a new one with the full amount and I got to keep the rest of the old amount.

When the news of bankruptcy appeared, I exchanged all my diamonds for lootpacks. Of all games (approximately 30-40) I left 10 more or less interesting. Fifth of them were with non-working keys. More precisely, four, there was simply no key in one card. There are no answers from the support service for six months. So yes the region matters :)

Yep, Germany is full of plenty Packs to choose, many Gift Cards, in-game currencies, more change for 💎, etc.
Since I haven't heard any single support working case outside of those 3 countries, I guess they're limiting all their resources within those 3 countries.

You have to do it in the app, at the game card reveal screen and within 5 minutes IIRC. Enough time basically to see if you actually want the game by checking it's Steam page.

through the app. you are given some time to exchange the game card for diamonds. it's like a random number from 1 to 125, but usually it's somewhere around 25 diamonds. the support service is still not working, I have been waiting since august for an answer, yep...

Well but idk what to put on the new thread, basically there's nothing else interesting/mentionable at all.
- No codes for a long while
- No Action LootPack since can't check hidden packs anymore.
- Almost all promos are for those classic 3 countries (Austria, Germany, Switzerland)
Unless we have lots of people being there or "traveling" there, I don't think many will get interested into it that much.
Although some people are still getting working Steam wallet...

I used 2500 diamonds and 10 lootickets last week for Steam packs. Got 20+20+10€ from the 25 pack and 5+10€ from the 10 pack. All the codes worked. I was surprised to get so much credit as I have opened hundreds of these packs before and was expecting maybe one or two 5-10€ codes max. It might be a good time for other people to exit as well if there are more reports of these wallet codes dropping at a higher rate than expected.

The best (the easiest) way to get diamonds is Free Diamonds pack (mobile, watch ads. you can get >5 diamonds each day)
Or Diamond quests (I don't want to waste time on that :) ).
Also it's better to open packs on mobile since you can exchange premium card to diamonds (30 diamonds or so)
P.S. +1 diamond each day from Exploration quests and +16 diamonds weekly from Boost

Forget about them. You can only buy discovery packs with them. They don't have keys, but sometimes have diamonds, they are very rare, about 3-5 per 25 packs. Steam key pack requires 125 diamonds.

Got Vagrant Hearts 2 from a pack (I think it was the splitgate one) but it activated as Vagrant Hearts Zero.
I didn't have either of these two games so I'm not gonna complain but consider this a warning if someone gets this game and decides to give it away, it might not be the one it claims to be.

It's been like that for a while unfortunately 😕, IIRC I saw a similar post around the beginning of last year or something like that trying to get support to rectify it. Don't remember if it worked. I also got "Vagrant Hearts 2" a few months ago and in my case activated as the first game, like you I had neither so I wasn't too bothered but when I got another "Vagrant Heats 2" in a 25-pack the next day I decided to trade it in for diamonds rather than deal with the potential hassle of a giveaway. Mildly annoying but with LootBoy on life support there didn't seem to be much point chasing it up 🤷♂️.

Fated souls 3 ended being Fated souls 1, I found out from a giveaway I created a month or so ago. There's also a BMX game with wrong title I gave away, luckily that one I knew about in advance and did giveaway of what it actually was. You could have tried to activate the 2nd key for Vagrant Hearts 2 on your account.
If steam said you already own the game it would probably have been the first Vagrant hearts again and you could have traded it.
If not you would have gotten VH2 ;)

You know you're probably right 😀, maybe I should have tried at the time. Work was piling on me pretty hard at the time and I had a bs skills course clogging up my free time and on top of that I was trying to clear my diamonds before (I thought) the site went belly up. I'd already received multiple game cards for games that I'd just received in lootpacks the day or even hours before so I assumed, perhaps rashly, this was the same case and hit the trade in button so I could move on quickly. Maybe Lootboy will give me another chance in the future 😁.

It seems Lootboy has gotten a lot better when it comes to duplicated keys, but if you still have doubts about a key, you can use the group below for those giveaways :)
Unfortunately it happens far too often that Lootboy is handing out duplicate keys, so a lot of people feel uncomfortable with creating public giveaways with the games from Lootboy. So I just created a little group with some rules to make it less risky for the generous givers.I hope this helps :)
