Most of you don't care about football/soccer, but it's a historic moment. Odds of this happening were 5000 to 1 at the start of the season.
They barely survived elimination from Premier League last year and spent ~10 years before that in lower divisions.
Everyone loves a good underdog story. Brace yourself, movies are coming :3

I was eyeing that thorough the season, though I'm not a huge fan. :)

But I'm kind of disappointed that Chelsea managed to get off the bottom. :| Shadenfreude. >:3

I don't, I just wanted to witness their descent into irrelevance :3 Nothing personal, it would've been the same if any of the ~5 elite teams played so bad. Though their goalkeeper situation last year and Mourihno's huuuuge ego made it easier to wish them suffering ^_^"

I'm a Manchester United fan and really pleased for them. It should give all clubs hope that they can compete with some of the richer teams rather than just looking to survive year after year. Of course it will be exceptionally difficult for anyone similar to emulate them but this should really fire up the imagination of fans and players alike. It's great for the league.

Particulalrly happy for Ranieri, he's a lovely fella.

Leicester proved that miracles are still possible in modern football. Working hard and giving your best is what gets you there, which is a point I feel needed to be underlined in a world where oil magnates pour billions of $$$ into buying even mediocre and above average players.

So yay for Foxes and yay for football!

not a sports fan myself, very un-english of me to not follow football (or drink tea! for shame on me!) but anything that brightens somebody's day can only be a good thing. although I also offer my sympathy for those mourning their own teams defeats. there's always next season or cup or whatever :)

its a miracle, it gives hope to anyone who a fan of a non billionare football club. This year was finally the year of the football and not the year of the money!

i believe in the last months everyone on the earth was Leicester fan except Tottenham fans. Sad year for Tottenham, neutral fans would have symphatized with them any other year.

There is no such thing, do you think billionaires become billionaires by wasting their money?

Leicester have spent no more money than the lower tier prem clubs.
