Most of you don't care about football/soccer, but it's a historic moment. Odds of this happening were 5000 to 1 at the start of the season.
They barely survived elimination from Premier League last year and spent ~10 years before that in lower divisions.
Everyone loves a good underdog story. Brace yourself, movies are coming :3

He's already spent half a billion and our best players are Rashford and Lingard who came through the academy... lol

Yeah, it's pretty sad, especially for van Gaal who is seen as a great booster of confidence. (his press conference persona is totally different from his coach persona) He should work with what he has instead of buying more bench sitters.

Wonder what odds you can get on them pulling a Kaiserslautern?

You mean to get relegated next year? I honestly hope it doesn't happen, I hope they find a decent sponsor, freshen up a bit and go for a second good run.

they'll need a bit of back up in terms of adding a few players and replacing any that get bought by a big club, given they bought quite cheaply it might be hard to resist selling for big money. Maybe some more asian sponsorship due to their thai connections

Yay! Great that it happened. :) Usually these clubs lose momentum and end up being 6th.
If only it had happened after their own win, but oh well, yay!

Now for PSV to win their last match with 11-1...LOL.

Congrats. What an amazing season.

Like many jaded football fans, I thought the days of an underdog unexpectedly challenging for the title were long, long gone.

Leicester fans must be pinching themselves...

I used to watch Grandstand on the BBC for the footy results but now with the net it's easy to follow the results! :-)

Good show Lester and it will be probably a dent for the bookies. :-)
