Hi SG !!!

Happy holidays, I recently became active again and would be giving quality games in the near future ^^

Might stop with 50-100 members or whenever I feel like it.

Recommend me games that fall under this genre, (metroidvania, platformer, roguelike, pixel graphics) not necessarily all tags.

EDIT : keep em coming! Winter Sale is near, and I would like more to people to try these genre. Happy gaming ^^

EDIT: im so happy with the recommendations, discovered a lot and made some new friends ^^ thank you everyone, but I would be closing with 65 members.

Dust: An Elysian Tail
Very beautiful and not particularly difficult metroidvania.

Supraland
This game has already been recommended here, but I’ll say it again, because it’s a really worthwhile thing if you love puzzles and exploring the environment.

Pyre
This game doesn't fit your criteria, but it's just beautiful and heartwarming, with an interesting world and story. The coolest soundtrack is included :)

Just wanted to +1 that Pyre rec. For some reason I also thought of it while I was trying to see what to recommend but in the end didn't include it since it doesn't fall under any of those genres(along with a few other titles like Thea 2: The Shattering, and Frostpunk). It is an absolute gem though.

I have Pyre in wishlist for a long time. It really is a gem. Maybe i'll touch it after finishing Hades and Bastion ^^

Revita, it was added to one of HB choice and I was shocked how much I like it. If you like action rougelikes, give it a try.

I love Roguelikes, though I go for the traditional flavors - I've played Nethack on and off for thirty years and more (and I'm not much closer to the Amulet of Yendor than I was back in the '80s). Nethack is a real-world free download, not a Steam purchase, but you can buy the graphical front-end Vulture on Steam.

A couple of favorites:

ADOM - Ancient Domains of Mystery is one of the original wave of roguelikes, from back in the day. I first played it in ASCII graphics when it was postcard-ware - free to play if you would send the dev, Thomas Biskup, a postcard telling him where you were and how you found the game. It has grown, and grown, and grown over the years.

Sword of the Stars: The Pit is a roguelike set in an underground base in the Sword of the Stars world. Lots of add-ons, now I think all sold together in the Osmium Edition.

Little Noah: Scion of Paradise
Fits the bill! Roguelite platformer. I enjoyed this one. Definitely recommend starting on hard mode to put you in your place >:D (difficulty can be changed before runs). A bit lacking in build diversity imo, but solid for 10 hours.

Gunfire Reborn
Roguelite FPS. With a bit of platforming. A lot of content here. Had some good 30 hours, before I got bored. Can be played with friends!

A Story About My Uncle
Very atmospheric, chill, exploration game. The feeling of flying is very satisfying and oddly idyllic. The narration was soothing and made me want to explore the world. I really enjoyed this one.

Hello there, I recommend a newly released metroidvania called TEVI.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2230650/TEVI/

I believe it meets at least two of your tag requirements, and the protagonist is a cute anime bunny girl.

I'm a big fan of metroidvania games but it's pretty hard to find something not mentioned here already :)
Well, I see you you own Teslagrad but not the sequel. I really enjoyed the first one back in the day and heard good things about the second game.
P.S. It has just been bundled on Fanatical.

I liked the game - usually not my genre but got me carried away for quite a while :)

for pixel graphics i liked Backbone (ex Tails Noire) but it turned out to be short :(

Well, you have played Ori and the blind forest for a bit. How about revisiting the game? It has a sequel too.
I also recommend Monster Sanctuary. I recommend Souldiers too. It's a bit of a difficult game. But I loved it and love how the game looks.

Hmm...a lot of the obvious heavy hitters have already been mentioned cough Hollow Knight cough. But I might still be able to pique your interest with some lesser known titles that can scratch the same/similar itches.

Toki Tori 2+ A personal favorite. It's a charming puzzle-adventure game that feels like a metroidvania-platformer. Based on the tags you requested, take this suggestion with a grain of salt because this one favors environmental puzzle solving over combat.
Maptroid: Worlds - I played the original Maptroid back in the Kongregate days. Effectively a minimalistic metroidvania that's played exclusively via the map UI.
Minit - You automatically die every 60 seconds. Use each life to learn more about the world in an attempt to break your curse. Do we count Zelda-lites? Well too bad, because I just did!
Yooka-Laylee & the Impossible Lair - Just a really solid (but underrated) platformer. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Yoku's Island Express - It's a pinball metroidvania! It's a weird mix, but it works!

Roguelike/lite is my favorite genre. I recently finished Roboquest and loved it! Hades and Brotato are also must-play if you like roguelike.

It is a different recommendation, but I would highly encourage you to continue playing Hollow Knight. From What I saw on your steam profile you play a little bit of it, and maybe at first is kinda basic and lame, but it ramps up very quickly in my opinion. There is a lot of room for personalization of play style, a huge skill cap, and it is one of my favorite games of all time.

Yes, i have stopped playing in general for a few years but i will definitely finish Hollow Knight, good thing to do while waiting for Silksomg! Added ^^
