Steam Summer Sales 2013?

So,i am from like not even 1 year on steam,and that is my first Steam Summer Sale,i just wanted to know what happens usually before this sale starts,imho it will start at the beginning of the next month,because every steam dealsends at the end of this month,but i would like on getting informations for it,like what happens before...rumors or leaks..?

Nope, there are some promos (Linux and preorder stuff) and then there's Grotesque Tactics which is still smth I can't explain.

Normally weekly deals appear at the same time with daily deals on Monday and there are at least 5-7 games present. Currently, that's not the case.

If you're referring to Midweek Madness they never start on Mondays. Always on Tuesdays.

Yeah, normally they start weeklong deals every Monday. If the whole store is going on sale later this week, not much point to starting a weekly sale today. Definitely looks like it's going to start this weekend.

If you go to the actual page with these DLC's and game there is clearly written 'WEEK LONG DEAL! Offer ends 8 July'. The same applies to Grotesque Tactics.

Wish I knew what they were thinking. Gog, Amazon, and Green Man have all started theirs already, and with pretty great deals, so the longer they wait the more those sites are going to erode their potential profits.
