I remember when playing BF3 and driving a tank, I randomly shot at the air and for my surprise, I destroyed a helicopter \o

Battlefield always had awesome moments. Bad Company 2 especially.

Unfortunately, I don't remember too many of my epic moments, I do remember a really cool moment when playing Super Mario Bros on the NES eyeing up the ceiling of the first underground level and thinking "I can make that jump" and making it over the level into the secret warp area for the first time

Stuff.
Don't know if badass but I remember years and years ago when lineage 2 was still popular .
I was part of the arguably best clan in the server and couple days b4 a really important castle siege we had a massive drama and most of ppl left .( For those who don't know a siege is 2h PvP event where you need t break brought few sets of gates and get to the throne room where a clan leader needs to cast a 5m cast time spell on ana artifact. Whoever has the castle at the end of the 2h keeps it . And must defend it in 2weeks)
So it was literally 1çp of 9ppl against the whole server .
It was Christmas so there was holiday event with Santa hats and Christmas trees.
So we came up with the idea to block the gate with them ( they was static indestructible item that lasts 1h)
So e did that , booked the main gate , then blocked the secondary gates ...and we kept the castle.
It was the best moment in my gaming history .
We all got banned for. Month after that shit but it was the funniest thing ever.
Sadly due to being banned e lost the castle but got it back a month after , fuse we remade the clan .
The drama was going for months, and we all got a custom sana hats from the GM .
May not be the badass moment , but it sure as hell was hilarious .
Makes me miss that stupid game....

I was the guy who had to play everything on max difficulty and for example in games like UFO, no soldiers died under my commad. Not a lot of time lately, so I am back to being much more casual about the games.
But there was one time lately. In Star Wars: The old Republic, there was a raid designed for 4 players. We had trouble with a random group, so I asked a friend and a veteran for help. The rest of the group was wiped and me, lone newbie low level tank ,held my own agains the end boss for like 5minutes, barely damaging him, but staying alive. I was so in the zone that it took me that 5 mins to look in the chat and read that everybody was telling me to die, so we can try again. They were pretty pissed and my heroic streak went from awesome to so bad and so embarrasing.. :)

A lot of Football Manager stuff like taking Blyth from unplayable at the start of the game to winners of the Premier League. That was a proud moment :).
100% the first Nep Nep was a decent effort as well.
My first League of Legends penta-kill.

Maybe not the most badass things, but still among the most entertaining.
Back in the day on WoWscape a private WoW Burning Crusade server before I moved to retail,
I was an Alliance Night Elf Druid around level 28 and in Desolace in the middle of nowhere. While I was there, I ran up on a group of 3 Horde players, I think they were level 27, 28 and 34. For about 2 hours I stealthed around and stalked them and I would kill any of them that strayed too far away from the group and run off before the others could get there and restealth except for the level 34 because I didn't stand a chance with the level difference. After all that time, eventually the other 2 just left leaving just the level 34, while I was trying to figure out a plan to take on the guy (I think he was a warrior). Right around that moment a level 34 Hunter on my side came into view and we both attacked him and I did a /dance on his corpse.
Or on retail WoW during Burning Crusade,
As a level 70 Tauren Druid in nothing but a mix of T4, T5, badge gear, and a trinket, was repeatedly dueling full Brutal Geared arena players and kicking their butts. Had a level 70 Warrior saying he felt bad for losing so much. But my favorite was this full brutal geared 2200+ ranked disc priest. Was a 6 minute duel followed by 6 minutes of him raging over it, followed by a 6 minute duel followed by him raging some more. We went around like this for a while before he finally rage quit complaining about how overpowered Feral Druids were during TBC, and anyone who played during that time remembers how feral druids were seen to the people.
Or another time on retail, I was at level 70 when I ended up getting asked for help because 3 level 70 alliance were attacking Hammerfall. A Mage, a Enhance Shaman, and a Rogue. I ended up going there and repeatedly killing them solo, only ever died once and that was my first attempt against the shaman because I messed up and misjudged his spec. Had fun repeatedly killing them and my favorite part was in the area chat when I saw someone saying "They can't kill the druid!!"
Or back in Unreal 2004, on an Onslaught map, ended up getting to a node right as the entire team died, except I used a plane (can't remember the name) to get ontop of a mountain with a sniper rifle. And with that sniper rifle I managed to hold of the entire team for at least 5 minutes till the entire team could get back. Every time they would attempt to take the point, I would shoot it with the sniper rifle so they would not be able to finish, if they took too long trying to get it, I would snipe them in the head. Then right as I ran out of ammo, I zoomed out to notice a tank aimed straight at me, they found me right as I ran out and shot me, but not before my team was running up behind them.
Or in Quake 2 while getting chased around on a pyramid shaped stage from a guy with the chain gun and ended up jumping in the air, spinning around and throwing a grenade that landed straight onto their face and killing them and then spinning back around before I landed and kept running.
Those were among my most entertaining times.

I don't understand the question. I only do badass things in games..If it's not badass, it wasn't me doing it.

I ran, as a roleplayed orc from the fort in Yew for mayor of the town of Safehaven (way across the main continent in Ultima Online).
Thing to understand is that Gorg was a very "special" orc. He was mostly deaf, but didn't know it. So he shouted at everyone and complained about how everyone was "WIZPURIN." For a good solid month I managed to skirt the edges of acceptable roleplay for an orc, walking around the fort declaring that "GORG NUB WANT TU LOOZ DIS EREKSHUN!" Yes, he had mislearned the humie word "election."
Everyone who was running for election had to head to town and detail their platform. Or maybe make an in-character post of it on their message board? Gorg had a policy of "URBUN REMUUBAL." Gorg wanted to reduce the "WIND" (that is, lag) we orcs experienced when we went to the town to "CLOMP" everybody. This was me the 30-something (back then) human making a joke about the disastrous Urban Renewal policies the U.S. ran during the 1970s. Houses got torn down in cities and poverty got even more entrenched.
During the election we had one or two orcs trying to intimidate the locals into voting for me, doing things like making stacks of leather (a bug we sometimes used for roleplaying purposes) on top of the other candidates' vote boxes, and hinting around that they might hurt them if they didn't vote for me. Great fun was had by all, I'd hoped.
I didn't realize that the players who "lived" there wouldn't get that I really wasn't coming to tear down their houses, eat their horses and slaughter them wholesale every day. I guess we were really convincing in our roleplay of evil monsters? I'm a nice guy, and even as roleplayed evil I was a fairly lousy fighter who mostly played for comic relief purposes.

Long intro story you can safely skip ahead:
Last christmas break I went to see a friend, pizza and then videogames.
He's the most "gamer" person I know; he has lot of consoles, PCs, handhelds, collector's editions and who knows what else. (he also does reviews for a website).
Well, after some heavily-controller-based games, which I'm not used to anymore, we switched to a more n00b friendly game, that is, FIFA.
He obviously won (5-2 or 6-2) because he played it everyday and I grew up playing Pro Evolution titles; even so, I managed to score from the kick-off, which he tought it was impossible in modern games.
gif contains frames from the video he recorded with his smartphone.
tl;dr scored from kickoff in FIFA

For those moments you just want to share to the world, from 360 across the map no scopes to just living a Mark Watney adventure in Osiris: New Dawn.
Come and share, videos are welcome! Positive attitudes are the only requirements :>
And maybe the trick I like gets a free game... ;)
