You can't buy hapiness

It depends - if human needs aren't satisfied (basic require money and others may depend on money as well), then a person won't be happy.

I like stuff, I need money to buy stuff. Money makes me happy.
I don't need a lot of money, but just having the money I need to get what I want (which isn't much) makes me happy.

A couple of milling dollars would make me happy. I would never have to worry about bills ever again and could concentrate on giving stuff away, which brings this warm feeling to me :)

I try to be apathetic because when I'm happy I feel good but when the happiness goes away I feel so bad. Then, is the happiness good if it can make you feel bad?

If we're all always happy, would happiness really matter then? It wouldn't be a special state of joy, rather the emotion you always default too.

EDIT: WHOA, space cat greeted me to winning a giveaway right after I posted this comment! Also, a perfect example. If space cat also greeted me in such a way for every comment I made it would become normal and nothing special. Defying odds in itself makes me quite happy.

I guess it depends on how one defines "happiness" at one's point in life. Now, I could definitely buy myself one - I'm happy about myself, about my life in a general idea, I only lack money - not only for living alone (bestest time in my life) but also for all these small things in life that make me calm and truly happy... like gifting or travelling for example.
So I pick "I'm fine" but not yet happy.

Nope, I'm not happy. I won't be happy anytime soon, or just for a short time.

I'd be happier if I wasn't so bad at interviews and wasn't the only one in my class that didn't get a job even though I get the best grades. Apparently employers don't even look at grades First impression is all that matters to them and the two who got the best jobs are actually the worst students of our group.

Happiness isn't the same thing for everyone, for most people you can definitely buy happiness though.
