Blacklist

Maybe we could have a "blacklist slot donation" option. I have 1000 open slots in my blacklist, ready to be donated.

Otherwise users like me would give only in the "group giveaways"

Just do it. Or you can use whitelist instead of group, if it's easier to maintain for you. Additive model will definitely work better for your case than subtractive one.

I ended up checking a lot of the entries of my giveaways for white/blacklist candidates. Once the BL was full I removed all the lower level users from my blacklist and stopped making giveaways at that level (not counting group/ WL). Right now I am at lvl 6 giveaways although I have not updated my BL in ages.

Also have a WL considering that a lot of people are probably going to BL you for bringing up such a topic.

I think I understand your limit pain. I can suggest you start public giveaways on higher level and filter rotten apples over that milestone. Cause you want blacklist users with allergy on giving, even 100k slots won't be enough.

Well it is individual preference for blacklisting. You can suggest it and see whether if it will be implemented. Giveaway is also personal judgement, you may think somebody is not eligible for your giveaway and you can always create it for those you prefer. But do take in consideration that even when you create a giveaway, the chances of winning by the person you intend to blacklist is low, especially when it was for public low level. Unless its a giveaway for delicate group. Anyway entering a giveaway is just like a lottery haha.

Im a bit curious regarding how one keep track if all 1000 people on their blacklist still deserve to be there or if the behavior that got them blacklisted have improved?

This is like doing charity work but hate the poor.

I havent blacklisted many, but there should be an option to blacklist as many as u would want. I think it is fair to blacklist people u do not want to interact with or to join your giveaways.

Isn't the limit removed for Premium accounts?

I personally don't need more than 1.000 blacklist slots, but I also don't care if more were available.

ive been blacklisted by 2 people for no reason i can see. im a member in good standing for a while. lvl 3 so cleary no bot or scripter. pretty bs if im honest

Perhaps some of the people have surpassed your standards in the recent years since you BL'd them. That'd be very hard to check. But forgiveness could be a possible route for you.

An easier route is to look for people who haven't logged in for over a year and remove them to make room for new additions. If people aren't using the site anymore, no need to keep them on your BL.

I would prefer larger whitelist.

I think you need to revisit what a blacklist is really for...whatever your 'standards' may be
