So I made biology quiz some time ago (like 10 months ago >_<) and had few more ideas, but hadn't had time to put them together. But as I had 2 weeks off due to Christmas I was at last able to sit and write them down.

It's not really a puzzle, more like quiz where you have to pick up one answer from 3 provided. Nothing hard, it's not designed to make you suffer, but to (maybe) make you learn few biology facts.

Starts here. This time 7 questions and SGtools check at the end (inactivated / multiple wins + no more than 69 games won than given).

SGtools works for now. So you can enter in GAs.

GAs are from November Monthly bundle:

  • Broforce
  • Kathy Rain
  • Rebel Galaxy
  • Styx: Master of Shadows

So I think that everyone will find something for themselves.

If you are curious about previous quiz it's available here. No GA tho, solve for fun only. But I'm proud of Q1, as FDA (U S Food and Drug Administration) banned triclosan in "antibacterial" soaps. So really, don't buy this stuff, it won't help you. It will drain your wallet, and only stuff it's really doing is polluting environment.

Washing with plain soap and running water remains one of the most important steps consumers can take to avoid getting sick and to prevent spreading germs to others. If soap and water are not available and a consumer uses hand sanitizer instead, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that it be an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol.
Since the FDA’s proposed rulemaking in 2013, manufacturers already started phasing out the use of certain active ingredients in antibacterial washes, including triclosan and triclocarban. Manufacturers will have one year to comply with the rulemaking by removing products from the market or reformulating (removing antibacterial active ingredients) these products.

Cool giveaways, and I do like the quizzes, despite debating the details of the old one. Sorry for the way I put my view across. I didn't mean it to seem as confrontational as it must have. I tried to be more constructive with my comment regarding Caesarian deliveries and auto-immune diseases. I hope I did a bit better there. I haven't actually read it back and I had been awake for a long time, so I'm not sure if I achieved my goal, but I had just wanted to share some info that I thought you'd find interesting.

Nah, it's cool. I started to play in games to beat my backlog a little, and I forgot to reply.

I know about Caesarian deliveries and this other thing, it's also really interesting :D Also fact that scientist did try to create "germ-free" mouses and failed miserably, as they were really weak and died easily. So as much as we'd like to eliminate germs (in fear of diseases), they're necessary for our well-being.

I read today, that giving to infants small amounts of peanut butter actually might prevent them of developing allergies. Not causing them. Which will be super interesting if they will confirm it, as whole generation of parents did raise their kids "old way".

Oh, good.
I wasn't expecting a reply, so don't worry about that.
Yes, I think science is starting to realise that not all "germs" are pathogens.
I find it interesting the way people get obsessed with reading books about parenting instead of listening to their own parents and grandparents.
