I like summer because days are long, nights are warm, you can make a barbecue and eat outside, there are fruits in the garden and mushrooms in the woods, every weekend there is a little town festival somewhere near, half-naked girls everywhere ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
BUT I don't like the Sun and the sunburns, the heat and the sweat, the sea and the sand and salt in the arse for a week...
That's why I go to the mountains whenever I can, possibly in a cabin with friends and lots of beer :D yesterday I went to a friend's mountain cabin "for lunch", and came home this morning, hehe, dangerous place! abbiam bevuto il Piave ahah

Bump!

I love summer - it's hot so I'm never freezing. I can wash my hair and immediately go outside without risk of falling sick. I don't have to wear too many clothes and I love that I only have to change my shoes when walking my dog out (contrary to the wintertime when I need to put on the additional layer of clothes, jacket, hat, scarf and still I feel afterwards that I'm freezing to death). That also means I can wear nice things (in opposition to the warm ones ;).
Flowers are blooming, fruits are growing on trees and those I don't have I can buy fresh on market. There are thunderstorms and then even the rain is warm. It's nice to walk outside or travel somewhere by foot, bike or riding the horse.
It's also a good time to travel because I can wait for a train or bus even sleeping on a grass (like I recently did at 3 AM in Milano).
I can meet with friends at the river or in the park, we can also go spontaneously camping somewhere.

So yeah, I love summer :3

oh well have a bump anyway, and btw summers sucks here for the most part because is too hot (40-42ºC where i live)

Not a great fan of summer, partially because it gets very humid in the summer here and not that much sunshine

i Love summer and hate the winter. i get depressed in winter and the cold is not good for me

I love summer. And failed to pass requirements :). Have a bump.

No. On top of freezing and being uncomfortably sweaty at the same time, what little sun there is will burn my fair skin and I will be eaten alive by bugs. That and people are such morons when it's summer. And all the media is full of "oo it's hot, such fun!" crap. Late summer with warm nights, beautiful sunsets and just the hint of dark are lovely.
