Not a giveaway, but are you one of those people who are always mining your PC for something you can delete to free up HD space?
I have a 1TB hd and its always with around 20GB-30GB left. So to install a new game, I need to delete an old one! What about you guys? :P

1.4TB of 2TB left on HDD

114 games installed.

To be fair, I haven't moved my music and videos over from an external drive yet - I'm buying a separate HDD for that as it's well over 2TB.

Doesn't doing that slow down your games?

Not if you have a decent external and computer, I'm using a WD with USB 3.0 and a transfer rate of like 4 gigs a minutes, and it's one of the ones that plugs into a wall so it doesn't draw power from my computer

Looks like I am the champion of lowest free space ever D:
Any tips on freeing up space? Good compression methods for HD movies? Etc?

Get rid of stuff that you don't actually need.

Sure it's a pain and takes long, but well worth it in the end.

Uninstall unnecessary programs. Use CCleaner regularly.

Get a bigger HDD?

Are you compressing just for storage? If so you might want to get an external HD or (gasp) burn it into DVDs or something.

At some point I realized there's no point in keeping things I'm done with, so lack of free space stopped being a problem :)

I usually use WinDirStat to determine what I should remove.
Also, usually, just delete movies/TV shows after watching -- it's not like you won't be able to find them again later.
Another good habit I got myself into for a while (but unfortunately stopped) was removing three unnecessary programs every month.

As I have partitions for different things, it'd kind of misleading. The gaming partition is 350 GB and it's basically full. But then out of 750 GB I have around 230 GB free.

Well I'll probably shame myself but oh well, I have around 10 year old hard drive with around 180 GB of space and currently I got 8 gigs on partition C and 17 gigs on D. Well feel free to laugh, since I will be building new PC completely in this year and it might cost around 3500$ and more if I decide for full water cooling.
