Do you really not use Origin at all or do you just say it because this is the internet? Why? Who cares about pride, games are games.

Edit: Forgot to mention I mean for Origin exclusive games. Of course steam is the best! Sometimes there are great deals on a game like Dead Space 3 or Mass Effect 3 and people don't buy it because it's on Origin. It's never coming on Steam anyways so just buy it!

The only problem I have with Origin is that it doesn't remember my account. Thus I'm forced to re-enter my password every time, and it's the kind of password you use password managers for.

I use Origin only for Battlefield 3. For other games Steam is way better.

I don't use Origin at all. I don't care if a game is on Steam or not, if it requires Origin I won't install it.

I use Steam, Origin, Capsule, GOG, GamersGate, and Desura. I really don't care to much. I'd like if all my games were under Steam but whatever. I like to play games and if I can't get a game I want on Steam I guess I'll play it somewhere else.

I stopped supporting EA long time ago so I've really no use for the Origin client itself.

I don't use origin at all if possible, I even backed out on purchasing the Mass Effect collection when it was on sale a while back. I don't use it primarily because I already have steam and don't feel like juggling another account. It doesn't help that EA has produced absolute garbage the last few years and murdered some of my favorite series. This is not to say that other companies (Lionshead) haven't destroyed good series, its that EA seems to have a higher K/D spread than any other company.

What are some series they "murdered"?

Don't forget Mass Effect, which was brutally smacked on third installment.

Bioware wasn't the first, and they won't be the last.

When I go looking to buy games, I look at the Steam store homepage. I never see any of EA's non-Steam games, so I forget they exist, That said, I will almost certainly be buying the new Mirror's Edge whenever it comes out, so I suppose I finally have to use Origin then. But until then, the only Origin games on my account are games I activated from Steam or disc purchase (the CD keys that Steam gives you for many of EA's games can be entered on Origin to activate the game there too).

I like Steam and all my stuff in one place. That said I'll consider other services for exclusives, except Origin. Fuck EA.

I don't support shitty business practices. I can't do anything to EA except speak with my wallet. So I'll buy their games on Steam, since that is a good thing, but not on Origin, because that is a bad thing.

Bought ME3 and BF3. Would rather have them on Steam, or even on a disc, but since Origin was required, I used Origin

I only use it for BF3, Need For Speed Most Wanted and BF 1942. I don't buy games through them though, usually on Amazon or a boxed copy in the store. It's not the worst, but it's not my preferred platform in any sense.

I prefer indies over AAA titles. Origin doesn't have any interesting indie I want, so I'll stick with Steam.
Oh, and I don't like EA also.

Most people who don't like Origin/EA are idiots who don't know anything about it other then what they read on here or on Reddit.

Origin ain't that bad, but as long as the storefront remains forced to be localized with horrible machine translations, I won't be giving them any money directly.

I don't see why people hate on Origin, it's fine. All the bandwagon hate is typical internet garbage.
