Anyone else scared off the blacklist thing?

I'm more fearful of missing a text message on my phone than I could ever be of being blacklisted. I came to terms a long time ago with the fact that not everybody is going to like me or agree with me.

I have no idea why people are blacklisting me and not one guy has white listed me. Am I so bad?

Same here! At first i was really nervous and I also made a topic asking about the steam etiquette and how to avoid getting blacklisted and I think that's the reason why I've been blacklisted twice. I myself don't have anyone in my blacklist because I think it's kinda silly and should only be used when someone is being really rude and stuff.

Don't be scared, just move on.. Do what you like and follow your heart I guess xD

Some people think blacklist is the block button

I think it's a really petty thing to do, to blacklist people. Can't they handle what those other people are saying instead of stooping to a low level and blacklisting?

Agree, it is pretty scary to get blacklist without reasons. And there's this stats that shows whitelist and blacklist which makes it even more scarier knowing how many people that like/hate you..

You really shouldn't care about people blacklisting you you're just adding un-needed stress its just someones choice to, it could be for something as simple as they dislike your avatar pic, it's just a silly thing to worry about. I couldn't tell you how many blacklist I'm on never cared to look. Just continue to be your green self, Fireballs YUM!

People already blacklisted me because of things I wrote. Some because of my reaction in my first giveaways to people who didn't read the descriptions, one because there was a misunderstanding and the rest, I don't know (maybe because of my ratio). People often prefer to not telling you.

why would I care?

I dont really get overworked over such thing, couldnt care less if someones get his/her jimmies rustled up over a comment of mine.

Although I do tend to counter blacklist people who blacklist me, for the sake of returning the favor.

Apparently i've been blacklisted by 3 people,I have no idea what i did to tick those people off,but oh well.

24 Blacklists & I don't give a ****. It's not like I enter giveaways anyway except the highlighted ones.

That whole Blacklist thing on sg is silly if you ask me.
You write once in the forum and get as reaction already blacklists. Atlhough if your Posts arent even Bad / mean or anything in the direction.

Depends on how you see things. Am I acting like another person? Nope. Am I holding back my angry outbursts - yep, definitely. And yeah, every now and then I get on a BL just for being alive and it's unpleasant, but compared to the people that put me on the WL, BLs are just about 20%, so it's not a fuss.

Most of the times it's not about what you say, but how you say it. People nowadays are so easily offended by almost anything. I like making rude jokes,not actually bullying or hurting someone, but so far I got blacklisted only once. Don't be afraid to be honest, if someone doesn't like you,screw it,you can't make everyone like you,so why should you.

I feel more worried about what I could do to angry someone or something like that, in case its a misunderstanding or something like that.

If someone blackisted me because a personal rule/ratio... What can you do? nothing. Its ok and perfectly understandable.

I have also no idea who or why people have blacklisted me except of 3 cases.

I'm actually disappointed I'm not getting blacklisted more. Then I remember I'm mostly lurking here.

I suffer from that more in real life than I do here, but the fact that I can see how many blacklists I'm on does rub my social anxiety just a tad. mostly I try not to let it bother me though, it's better to be hated for being myself than to be liked for pretending to be somebody else
unless I'm pretending to be myself... what if I'm fooling even myself? can I blacklist myself?

For every time you say something smart, 1 person will blacklist you and 4 will whitelist you. :P Actual statistics may vary
I would like to know reasons for blacklists, even if I didn't know who did it. Would be interesting to see if I've done anything that actually upsets someone, or if they are just mad because they couldn't solve one of my puzzles, or something. :P
