Here we go, I'll start.

Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10

Like Father, Like Son

I had seen another of Hirokazu Koreeda's films before, "Still Walking". I love how he reflects about family lives and how each family member connects to the others. Mostly subtle style but still emotionally challenging.

"Like Father, Like Son" is about 2 families, who got their boys switched right after birth. Six years later they get to know this fact and have to approach the topic what to do next.

I added that one to my watchlist, after seeing Like Father, Like Son. I would have done so just for Yoko Maki, her performance was fantastic. :)

Last Flag Flying. Wow. Just..... Wow.
An excellent movie directed by Richard Linklater. Very well done, if silly in some spots.
I'm not even a big fan of Steve Carell, but he does have his moments. This movie was one of them And I love Laurence Fishburn. He's one of those actors that can take a role and make it his own.
And I think I don't even HAVE to say anything about Brian Cranston. His anme speaks for itself.

Even though it did have overtones of the Iraq war, it wasn't that much of them.

One of those movies where I HAD to stand and applaud when the credits started to roll. Even with a tear in my eye. I admit to that.

9/10 for me.

watched murder on the orient express 2010 from Agatha Christie's Poirot series. way better than the '74 version. it's also concise since it's way shorter, no time for fillers. ^^
david suchet made such a perfect poirot 😢 ❤️️ bonus points for chastain and the governor from TWD

Faust
Its bad, and I owned it, for a long time, though i've never bothered watching it. Took me this long, and would have probably taken longer, if it didn't unexpectedly pop up on RLM, so i had to see it, before getting massive spoilers from them. Pointless, because there was no context to anything . Still, it was really fun and i got to see some crazy shit without seeing it comming. If i were to describe the movie, it is an end career film for the director, it grabs everything he directed or produced and inserts it randomly throughout the movie. He still works but on giant animal and Asylum like movies.
7/10
Bushwhacked
It's terrible and probably not something you should show to children. It gains 1 point for me, for all the scenes Daniel Stern almost killed a kid.
This was the only comedy vehicle for Stern, doesn't help that all he can offer is the one dimensional character he plays in home alone
1/10
Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever
It's a perfect 0 on RottenTomatoes. I remember the "100 things we learned from X" threads on IMDB. This one is perfect for that.
0/10
Hitman
Someone shot this one on "loud Assassin". Comes with an underdeveloped romance, Plot must be in another DLC
3/10
Hitman: Agent 47
The worst sequel to John Wick as of yet. Watch for Agent 47 walking down a corridor like he is the goddamn Terminator

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Another one where all I can say is just WOW! Just..... Wow.

Very well done. Incredibly well acted. One of the rare roles where Woody Harrelson actually did NOT play an asshole. And he was amazing as his part.

9/10 A MUST see.

A great movie indeed.
I second that it's a Must See.

Was very good, but last year was so good it barely cracks my top 10. More how good last years movies were than any knock on the movie.

Also, Woody Harrelson was fantastic in Edge of Seventeen, which is a REALLY good coming of age movie. FAR better than the shockingly overrated Lady Bird.

Colossal

I watched it only knowing that Anne Hathaway is somehow connected to a monster. Far into the movie I expected it to be a romantic comedy flick at the end. It wasn't.

I like the military style in the shootouts. They had some great consultants.
Still, Heat is my favorite tho.

A Quiet Place. It's really, really good. Exceptionally tense, the jump scares MAKE SENSE in a world where they have to be quiet, really had me on the edge of my seat throughout.

I saw recently Ready Player One, A Quiet Place, & Black Panther at my local theater straight in a row in a day.

It was awesome ^^

Easter egg galore & a tinge of nostalgia in RP1;
had a awesome quiet horror experience watching AQP, except that a couple of people in my row kept giving their commentary during the movie and spoiling the mood a bit for me T_T;
and lastly,

Thor
My least favorite tropes all in one SuperHero movie. They were so close to play the amnesia card, not that what i got was anything better, since Thor didn't realize something so painfully obvious, i guess i'm waiting 50 min for the "twist".
And then, the directors unique Style was to insert a dutch angle every few shots. Was this guy a fan of Battlefield Earth?
It wasn't the worst thing ever, it feels like a Renny Harlin movie, which...heh
3/10
Thor: The Dark World
I remember they doubled down on the comic relief. I don't even remember anything else. I've seen these last week, but this was the only one i forgot
2/10
Thor: Ragnarok
I was supposed to watch it when it came out and bailed out going. Third time's a charm. New MCU is definitely better, just hope they don't repeat this for 10 years. they do have an answer to a successful Hulk film in this and it's not an Origins story. I'm sure Goldblum had to do multiple takes, just to talk at a moderate speed
8/10
Wonder Woman
So far it's my Favorite movie from DCU, not like there is anything else to choose from. If this was before DCU and Zack Snyder taking over, it would be even better. The setting, story, multi layered hero, some romantic comedy and tropes, its very light and charming to a point. Wonder Woman´s motives can be really relatable but sometimes sound insane in the real world.
what's bad? its ugly as shit, with a ton of greyish filters, the costume is hideous, the only bright colorful piece of weaponry is the golden lasso, that just look ridiculously out of place.
Its well over 2 hours long
7.5/10
Justice League
Its kinda generic, and none of the characters are properly represented, some of them they cant anymore, the previous idea for Superman is considered a failure and this movie pretends it never existed. What's really mind boggling is that, they simply winked at Superman turning possibly evil, and that is a better idea for a movie, that in this took like less than 10 min to resolve

The Big Sick - A clever presentation of the story of how Kumail Nanjiani (starring as himself) met a girl, wooed her, broke up with her, and fell in love while she was hospitalized in a medical induced coma. Some liberties have been taken, but it's basically a true story. This sentimental old fool loved it.

Victoria and Abdul - How many times can Dame Judi Dench portray a British monarch? She does it so well that I'm wondering if anyone else is even considered for the role. Another true story embellished for the screen.

Just got back from seeing the new Avengers: Infinity War.

Wow. Just......................... Wow.

I will NOT spoil ANYTHING! Nothing. Nada.

I'm sure you all spoiled it already online. But I never watched any of those.

EASILY worth watching. 9/10.

Avengers: Infinity War - Today.

++ Manage to juggle an enormous amount of characters and locations without being confusing or losing pace
++ Action scenes as always are very good in Marvel movies
++ Good job with CGI
++ Humor (in most cases) landed effectively

-- Main Villain (no spoiling) motivations/philosophies are underwhelming to the point of being stupid
-- Ego clashes between heroes - starting to get old and expected
-- Humor, while good, sometimes interrupted serious scenes for not good reason
-- Too long

Final Grade: 78

Highly Recommended to watch in movie theaters. This is the classic popcorn movie for the big screen.

Been on a real movie kick these past couple of weeks.
Day of the Dead: Bloodline The new retelling of the original.
All in all, not as good as the original Day of the Dead which I thought was fantastic. But still MUCH better than the 2008 reboot of Day of the Dead.

And yes, I love that franchise.
