I think I will have to add this show to my watch-list. I used to watch Are You Being Served? and this seems to be produced about the same time with similar humor. Should be fun! Thanks!

Just read that Gorden Kaye has died age 75. For those who don't know who he was, he was famous as Rene Artois the owner of a bar during WW2 in the British tv-show "Allo allo".
I loved this show as a kid and it's pure nostalgia, it reminds me of cosy tv-nights with my parents. Over the years I rewatched the show many times and it's still very entertaining.
