Here's my vote: Ghosts N' Goblins is probably the hardest game (hardest for me to win) that I still enjoy.

Is that a joke? Maybe I misunderstand you. To me it seems like this: it's only hard if you're playing against someone who is good at it (meaning it's easy for the people who make it hard for you.)

I'll go with F-Zero GX -.-, i already finish I wanna Be the Guy, Super Meat Boy was just try again many times until you learn the level, the same with battletoads, even i finished Super Mario Bros 2 The Lost Levels without cheats, but F-Zero GX... you must finish the whole game each time with a new racer!!!!, i did it once but my memory card stopped working so i i start the game again 2 years ago and.... i still can't unlock the AX Cup again -.-

Sector Z, PlayStation 1. Strategy Red Robots vs Blue Robots. Broke the first CD I had of it in half (I was about 10 years old). Got a new CD a year later and finished it. For some reason the robots spoke and yelled at each other in German never found out why.

Battletoads is simply TEH HARDCORE itself. Ninja Gaiden is playable until you reach stage 6.3 and have unlimited continuous.
But Battletoads, it is just impossible. I can't move from the surf stage, and it's impossible to go on even with an emulator with the save function.

I find Supermeat Boy very hard, especially the first boss fight/run. Everything is going fine until I get to the boss :( I couldn't get it for a long time...

That's the point. Are you going to choose one that you think is fun even though it's hard? What's the hardest game you've ever played that you still love? It doesn't need to be one from the list. Those are just ideas.
