...and if so, did you like the outcome? The only game I ever pre-ordered was Abyss Odyssey (and I still didn't have time to try it), anything that ACE Team does is an insta-buy for me and I want to support them as a studio.

I've pre-ordered only three games: The Witcher 3, Dead Rising 3, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Bundle (In Pre-Order) [Which include the 3].

But, yes, I don't have time to play it at the moment. Still, I don't regret anything... Bonus Contents, very special prices and I'll get a DRM-Free copy of Witcher 3 at GOG when Steam will give me the Key.

Never pre-ordered anything but thought about pre-ordering Watch Dogs DedSec Edition but didn't because of the price. Now I maybe pre-order GTAV on PC but still thinking about it....

Yes. Books, comics, ps2 games and pc games. The price dropped quickly sometimes before I received/read/played it.
In my case, pre-order always not a good idea.

Batman Arkham Origins and Wolfenstein: The New Order. I wasn't amazed by Origins as it just didnt feel complete next to the other two games, which lead me a few weeks completing it, only playing tiny parts at a time. Whereas, I loved Wolfenstein and played it till it was completed.

Hitman Absolution (first preorder) - decent, also got Hitman Collection as a bonus. Other includes: Assassin's Creed Liberation, Thief, Dark Souls II, Witcher 3; GTA V, MGS GZ for PS3. Don't regret nothing, played these immediatly and had my fun. Except for The Walking Dead S2. Won't preorder anything from Telltale. And almost forgot Mass Effect 3 Collector's edition. Nice artbook and steel case, but the game was mediocre, got to admit. Also, got banned in multiplayer, hehe.

Colonial Marines and Spintires, one of which turned out to be a turd, and the other...feels like a decent kid abandoned by his parents. :/

Back in earlier days where I was assured a good game, not so much these days though I'm thinking about pre-ordering Costume Quest 2

Things I did pre-order (mainly due to having a reliable spare money flow):
Final Fantasy Origins
Megaman Zero 1
maybe a few others.

But such preorders were easier as I can just put down some money when I could. WIth steam pre-orders, it's everything up front.

I pre-ordered GTA SA on PS2, played it a lot. Pre-ordered Battlefield 3 for PC and also played that a lot. Can't think of anything else.

Watch_Dogs- Pls give me refund now, this game was a turd for me.
Wolfenstein The New Order- By far my favorite game that I've ever pre-ordered
I'm looking into pre-ordering AC Unity and GTA V
Personally I really don't like pre-ordering things but these all look/looked good. Only one has turned out to be a total turd so far... you know...

Once. "Witcher 3" @ GOG because of developers' promise "No payed DLCs for the game later", which was not really kept.

Its rare but I think the last one was Wasteland 2 which I backed the kickstarter for, if that counts.
It wasn't quite as good as I hoped but I got my moneys worth.

i usually would rather not pre-order anything at all unless i'm positive the game is gonna be good and it's only around $40-45. that being said, the pre-orders that i can remember are the two resident evil remakes and batman arkham knight. everyone knows arkham knight had one of the worst pc releases in recent memory, but honestly after nvidia's day one patch, i didn't think it was too bad. it was at least playable even if i wasn't getting a constant 60fps. i still enjoyed it enough to beat it twice in a row. i was absolutely happy with re2, and though re3 was a bit of a letdown, i still thought it was a good game. i probably would've been a bit upset if i had paid the full $60 though.
i would probably pre-order cyberpunk 2077 if i could find a good price on it, but it's $60 everywhere.

After Wolfenstein: The New Order was a surprisingly good game I pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Colossus. It's not a bad FPS, but it's such a letdown conpared to New Order. Luckily I didn't pay full price for it, so it didn't hurt too much ;)
