I don't recall seeing this thread around here and I think it's a pretty cool one. You can either recommend someone a game or advise someone not to waste one's time on it. I'll start.

Mark Of The Ninja - A very good stealth-action game. It's like Splinter Cell but in 2D. Although I admit there were times when I was a little bit bored. Overall it's a very good game. Solid 8/10.

Edit:

Here's a collage of all games I've beaten over the years on PC:

Here's a collage of games in which I've got all achievements (100%):

I haven't finished a game in years.

But I also tend not to play story-driven games all that much, so "finishing" is a difficult thing to grapple with.

Mechanic Escape - Amazing platform game. It's very fast-paced, smooth and challenging. I wasn't expecting such a great game. It's a must play for every fan of the genre. I only wish it was longer (it contains 80 levels but you rush through them very fast and the game is not very long). 8+/10

PS: I also unlocked all achievements in it.

Three Dead Zed - Very average platform game with some puzzle elements. While it looks good and the humor is pretty good the main flaw is controlling the character. It is terrible. Especially controlling the fastest guy which we control most of the time. Jumping and aiming where you want to land is a drag. Also I had a feeling the authors didn't know what they actually wanted to do. There was an idea but the execution is just very, very average at its best. If you're bored you might give it a shot as it's not terrible but it's not good either. Average. 5/10

Thief Gold
Truly one of the best (stealth) games ever made. The cutscenes were surprisingly impressive, way better than cutscenes in many modern games.

Next, I'm buying Thief II and Deadly Shadows, because it would be a shame not to have them on Steam :)

i really enjoyed playing it thou i had terrible problems with getting the game to run and nothing i found on the internet worked at all...well after my bf sent me default.ini which was the prob i couldnt start the game it finaly was able to start but then another problem... no text in menu and so on well i changed the language on steam to english that fixed it.
that effort was totally worth it :D

anyways i really enjoyed the story and the gameplay...even thou i regret harvesting the little sisters :x

Lili: Child of Geos It was really fun, very Psychonauts-esque but as an exploration game rather than a platformer. Was way too short, though.

Assassin's Creed Revelations or Far Cry 3, can't remember. Right now I'm playing Saint's Row 4, Assassin's Creed 3, Driver San Francisco, DeadRising 2 and a couple of sandbox/multiplayer games. I guess I'm ruining the stories by playing all of them at once, but I just couldn't help myself :P

Fly'n - Very good platform game. Graphics are nice, music is good, level design is very good, boss fights are nice, controlling the characters is plausible, cut-scenes are cool and gameplay is awesome. If you're a fan of this genre make sure to give this game a shot, it's awesome. 8/10

Zack Zero to 100%. To my actual surprise, it was a good game, with only a few bugs (a year ago it was a bugfest according to forums). I'd suggest it if you like platformers, or looking for an enjoyable (and quite short) game to 100%. ( it shows 26 hours for me: early card-hunting with alt-tab, ridiculous amounts of alt-tabbing while in game. I'm sure it can be maxed in 6ish hours, 1 level roughly takes 30-40 minutes to complete)

+1

It's a good game, I enjoyed it as well. And I also did 100%. A pleasant surprise.

Electronic Super Joy - Pretty nice little platform game. It's pretty challenging and not for everyone. It has great music and fast-paced gameplay. But graphics are not good (especially the flashing colors are annoying), humor is very low and not funny at all and there's basically no plot. But the game's not bad. 6/10

Electronic Super Joy: Groove City - It should have been a DLC, not a stand alone game. It's pretty much as good as the first one but it's very, very short, easier and there's not much new stuff. 6/10

PS: I also unlocked all achievements in it. It was way too easy.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut 100%. I had this one for a long time and knew how good it was but now I finally got my hands on it and yeah, totally worth it. Really like how Missing Link doesn't feel a dlc, and I absolutely enjoyed playing the games stealthy and not murdering anyone for 100& + nothing beats the warm cyberpunk atmosphere.

Next ones: the Alan Wake games.

DmC - Awesome game, I love it and I think it's a nice addition to the other Devil May Cry games 9/10

DmC: Vergil's Downfall - This DLC on the other hand is just crap, it's short, the combat isn't as fun, the variety in enemies is extremely low and the levels all look the same 3/10

Darksiders - For the second time. It's a great hack'n'slash mixed with platform game. Very similar to God of War so if you enjoy such games and haven't played this one yet make sure to do it. It's worth it. 8+/10

I Am Vegend: Zombiegeddon - A casual tower defense game. It's heavily criticized in Steam reviews. I don't understand it to be honest. It's a good, relaxing game with nice graphics. It's short, easy and there could have been more music tracks but I enjoyed it nevertheless. 6/10
