20 February 2019 - 9:04 PM was the moment when I did create my account here and started to look around to understand how everything works.

Almost 2 years have passed since then and that means that cake/factory day is upon me.
That means this site demand a sacrifice in games from me as per tradition.

I had great fun here and also many interesting discussions and meet many interesting people. Also during these 2 years some people added me to their BL and 16 times more people added me to their WL. Thank you all :)

My math tells me that lvl 6 / 2 years = 3 so GAs are for level 3 and up and if my math is correct these GAs should make me level up and reach level 7 :)

GAs (lvl 3+):

If you want you can BUMP but if you really want to BUMP write something about your favorite or TOP 5? 10? favorite games. It is always nice to read what other people enjoy and think and to add some new games to wishlist because of that :)

Thanks for the giveaways and congrats on (soon) reaching level 7 !

Hard to name favs, but I've enjoyed these single player games:

12 is better than 6 (shooter with top-down perspective)
1954 Alcatraz (point & click adventure)
Bioshock
Deadlight
Duke Nukem 3D (1996. Best use a source port for proper 3D.)
Half-Life series (1998 to 2007, not counting Half-Life: Alyx)
The Journey Down (point & click adv.)
Left 4 Dead series
Legend of Grimrock (RPG with grid movement)
Portal series (also recommend Portal Stories: Mel)
Star Wars Jedi Knight Dark Forces II (1997)
The Swapper

Multi-player:

Left 4 Dead series
Team Fortress series (1999, 2007)

A very happy Cakeday Zarddin 🧁

Most of my favorites have already been mentioned by others, and Genshin Impact, the game that I have been pouring my hours into lately is also a well known and popular game which makes recommending it redundant so I donno... Solitaire?

It's difficult for me to pick favorites, so here are five games that I I consider "hidden gems". I really enjoy all of them and have played them multiple times. They're all pretty much slower-paced, creepy-ish games.

Bump! Thanks for giveaway.

Last few years i don't have too much time for playing games. So now i prefer mostly short games and rougelikes. The best rougelike for me is The Binding of Isaac. Also i liked Enter the Gungeon, Faster than light, Darkest Dungeon.

There's to many games in my top list, so here's a bunch of random games that I consider 11/10 in no particular order:
Disgaea series (the first game has one of the best stoies and characters ever. Rest are hit and miss, but gameplay is solid in all of them)
Steambot Chronicles (unfortunately a PS2 exclusive, that also doesen't emulate all that well. The game is basically "Yakuza, but with customizable robots and role-playing". Has a spin-off on PSP that is nowhere near as good)
Tekken 7 (Well... It's Tekken and arguably the best one yet)
FlatOut Ultimate Carnage (One of a kind racing game. Everything in it feels just right and no other game captures the same feeling)
Streets of Rogue (My favourite roguelite. Every run is it's own little RPG with quest, npc's and random world events. Has up to 4 players local and online co-op. Just play it, it's to complex to explain)

Tough to put together a top list of games. I cycle through games so I'll probably list the ones I've played the most or feel like I keep coming back to: Garry's Mod, Terraria, Dungeons of Dredmor, Skyrim, Dark Souls 3, and the Divinity Series (Larian Studios)
Thanks for the giveaways :)

Happy cake day! I'm always bad with my top 5 or 10.. Because it changes. I've found that my tastes in gaming has changed drastically since I first started gaming, years ago, when I was about 3 or 4. So a lot of my Top 10 are "exceptions to the rule" in terms of genre. Lately, I'm getting more into isometric RPGs, simulation, and strategy. I wanted to clear Tyranny out of my backlog but accidentally spent 5 hours in a binge session playing it 😂 Meanwhile, Crusader Kings 3 is already coming in strong as one of my most-played games ever. I would've joined the Neverwinter Nights GA if I didn't already own it ;)

Happy early Cakeday for the 20th!!
Have to agree with you about The Elder Scrolls games - they are brilliant. I loved the ability to enhance any stats you wanted, roam nearly anywhere, a story-rich world that just sucked you in :)
I have so many great games waiting for me, but currently dabbling in an old mmorpg (The Lord of the Rings Online). Perfect if you have no life, lol. The other games are time wasters/relaxation games (my puzzle games), a niche sort of genre.

Happy cake day!

Let's see...sticking to the Steam era (that is, no Infocom masterpieces, Sierra's King's Quest, or Diablo II), I'll go with (in no particular order):

  • Remember Me, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Life Is Strange, Dreamfall Chapters, and Path of Exile.
    Honorable Mention: Tomb Raider (2014)
