20 February 2019 - 9:04 PM was the moment when I did create my account here and started to look around to understand how everything works.

Almost 2 years have passed since then and that means that cake/factory day is upon me.
That means this site demand a sacrifice in games from me as per tradition.

I had great fun here and also many interesting discussions and meet many interesting people. Also during these 2 years some people added me to their BL and 16 times more people added me to their WL. Thank you all :)

My math tells me that lvl 6 / 2 years = 3 so GAs are for level 3 and up and if my math is correct these GAs should make me level up and reach level 7 :)

GAs (lvl 3+):

If you want you can BUMP but if you really want to BUMP write something about your favorite or TOP 5? 10? favorite games. It is always nice to read what other people enjoy and think and to add some new games to wishlist because of that :)

Happy cake day!

You ask a tough question (I feel like, no matter what the answer is, it's a decidedly unfair one), but some of my all-time favorites, in no particular order, include the Age of Empires series, Left 4 Dead 2, Mini Metro, Torchlight 2, and Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Happy early Cakeday!

I'll add a quick 5 and maybe do another 5 if I remember later! I don't know about "top" as these change quite often depending on mood but, some of the games I've sunk a substantial amount of time into and have fond feelings for include:

Garry's Mod - The numerous game modes, variation in content, and multiplayer support is nothing short of a 'blast' imo. Favorite modes for multiplayer include Prop Hunt as well as Hide and Seek. (392 hours)

Mount & Blade: Warband - I loved the freedom it offered to 'create your own adventure' and mod support was phenomenal - adding up to at least 150+ hours of extended shelf life. (256 hours)

Empyrion - Galactic Survival - Picked this up in early access. As a sucker for the 'survival craft' genre this was a pretty decent one. It sported great co-op potential with a fully malleable universe and creative options up the wazoo. (212 hours)

RimWorld - The best colony sim I've had the pleasure of playing to date. It's brutal and unpredictable but, I loved every minute of it. One of a few I plan to play again when I have a bit more downtime in the future. (140 hours)

My Time at Portia - Quirky, fun, and relaxing. In a sea of 'farming sims' MTaP gave me a 'workshop sim w/ farming and RPG elements' which, surprisingly, I enjoyed it a lot more than I had any right to. (131 hours)

Today's the day, eh? Happy cakeday to you (: I'd easily say that a couple of my top 5 list are Stardew Valley and Divinity Original Sin 2, but it gets a little fiddly after those two.

Happy Cakeday!

I don't have a top 5, but the games that came to my mind when I though about it are: NFS Underground, Star Wars Republic Commando and Life is Strange.

Happy cake day ! 🍰

Top 5-6 actually :

  • Suikoden 5 (from PS2 era), a game with many endearing characters, i dream of a PC remaster (unlikely)
  • Diablo 2, it was rather an addiction but i didn't regret the time spent
  • Heaven's vault, an exploration games where you decipher word by word an imaginary language, really unique !
  • Kingdom come, i fell in love with walks in the super realistic virtual forest, it's a vegetation dose :D
  • Astrologaster and Broken sword, the only games that made me laugh heartily

But you, you didn't give us your top 5, i'm curious what is your top 5 ?

My TOP5 would be Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Fallout 1 and 2, Dragon Age: Origins :)

Thanks for this answer ! I tried badur's gate looong time ago but didn't have the courage to go on because of old-school gameplay but story looked captivating ! I heard that it was the ancestor of recent games like pillars of eternity or divinity original sin, and would be more tempted to try these ones.

I think Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition is better now as it has the old-school feeling but also the improvements that are now in RPGs.

Like now you can use I think ALT or maybe it was TAB to make pickup items be highlighted to see them clearly while I remember playing the original and I had to mouse over everything to make sure what can I loot and still I missed many hidden things :P

But the games I mentioned made me love RPGs. And yes the story of Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 is an epic story that was very important for the whole Forgotten Realms world (Dungeons & Dragons) :)
