Who would you save: A beloved pet or a complete stranger?

Pet, hands down. Not because of the fact that I love it, but because human beings, both grown and young, are inferior in my opinion to animals. Animals don't have religion, wars, racism, narcissism or egoism(some of them, at least), or any other crap. They don't mess with the circle of life like humans do, like gene experiments or cloning or whatever. They just live their life and die, doing what they were meant to do in the process. I'm not saying all human beings are trash, they're simply inferior to most, if not all, other living beings.

I would save my guine pig! :D

But seriously if the person seems like a kind hearted person I would probably save them or like one of those hobo dudes who actually buy food with the money.

If I have no pet and hate strangers, what do I do ?

When people say 'never trust a stranger' they have to live in fear...
What kind of person would be nice to go along if they even can't befriend new persons without being paranoia.

Maybe I would sacrifice myself to save both. I would say to the stranger he should take my pet, bring it to my family and say them i love them. :/

Knee Jerk reaction, no time to think, i would save the beloved pet. I'm responsible for the Pet, the human stranger i don't know.
You don't even really know whats happening if its a sudden thing. If the human was right in front of you, and you were certain it was life or death, maybe.
Thats not to say i would CHOOSE the pet over a human. But in an adrenaline moment, your heart goes to what is closest to you.

In real life there is no choice between a pet or human. Real life is not that simple and the choice depends on many factors which determine your choice - notice that under 'factors' i dont mean personal preferrence but simply the circumstances in which you take an action.

Personally i appreciate animals much more than human being as it's human whose expansion is extremely harmful to every live being (we are not reproducing but rather replicating like f... bacteria -_-). Animals keep balanced and when it comes to pets in most cases of life threat they are defenceless.

I hope that my explanation is clear - If you are in life threat situation like hanging on the cliff and strangely there's my pet next to you, you'd better say your last prayer =)

So would you take a pet to the vet or the person to the hospital after an accident? I'm sure most of you would choose to save the person over an animal if that's the case "at least I hope so". Sadly I'v seen lots of cases where people don't stand up or help others just coz they don't want "any" trouble for themselves.. I agree technically we're also animals but we're smarter than most of them and we belong to the same species "Homo sapiens"
