Hillary or Trump?
This election is a disaster. Where is Bernie Sanders?

He was the only candidate that was actually PAYING his campaign workers and volunteers!

he is LEGAL regarding his taxes, there's a loophole in the legal system!
unlike Hillary being indited by the FBI and clearly getting away with it because she is part of the establishment
look into her donors like Soros, Saudis, Qataris. the Clinton campaign, pedophile rings, epstein island, anthony weiner, huma abedein, muslim brotherhood, globalists, central banks, controlled media and the new world order

and don't get me started on Hillary trying to start WW3 with Russia
or backing Obama who doubled the USA's national debt to almost $20trillion since he got into office and the consequences it has
I don't care about being nice, I care about policies.

good for you - but please spread your vitreol somewhere else, it was unwarranted no matter how you look at it - your response mentioned nothing about policies - it was simply rude - Nice Edit To Your Original Rude Response Though (Way To Hide Your True Self There - See the little asterix next to my time stamp, that shows that I edited my text here, and yours shows you edited your text as well) - Sigh - You have a good day though :)

And you show your true colours again - guess the edit where you removed your rude reply didn't alter your feelings - seems like rudeness just follows your posts - very sad indeed - civility it appears is not your strong point - sigh :( - ROFLMAO, but thanks for the blacklist, guess pointing out that you altered your post was too much for you. Giggle :-) Have a hug, and shiny wishes :)

so we have a heartless, careless, selfish liar on one hand and a chauvinistic pig on the other...what is wrong with this country today.. if this is the best we have willing to run this country then its one hell of a sad state of affairs here in the usa,i think its about time we start to take another look at our political and media systems here its like any good candidates are just thrown under the rug before they are even given a chance and all the spotlight goes to the rich megalomaniacs.

I'm not American, but I did watch both debates and have been following election-related news in the last year. I would easily vote for Clinton over Trump and I'm amazed this race was even close at any point in time. The most interesting articles in my opinion, were those by newspapers that endorsed Republican nominees for more than 100 years but this time chose to endorse Clinton. One editorial by The Arizona Republic is an especially good example. Dare to read it all and tell me that you think Trump is the better nominee. And this was written before the fiasco of Trump confessing to sexual assault ("if you're famous you can do everything to women... grab her by the pussy!").
It's interesting I couldn't find any endorsement for Trump by newspapers that have been endorsing Democrat nominees over the years. I also couldn't find any reports of elected Democrats saying they won't vote for Clinton, where as with Trump dozens of well known Republicans withdrew their support. This include people like Senator John McCain, former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice, house speaker Paul Ryan and many others.
Blacklist away, people :-) Maybe it would help Trump win the presidency somehow, because nothing else would.

Well put, I'm in the same position as you. What I find most irksome, though, is that so many people seem to think or proclaim that the outcome with either candidate would amount to some kind of calamity of equal proportions. People here and elsewhere are saying that they despise the one (Trump) and hate the other (Clinton). Frankly, It's not even a contest here, and I'm inclined to believe that anyone construing or actually positing some kind of equivalence in this situation has either not done their homework regarding the basic facts, is irrationally biased and/or intellectually dishonest, or has ulterior motives. Putting aside the moral issues here, a Trump presidency is intellectually indefensible, even for those that identify as Republican or conservative.
On the other hand, if we take a closer look - actually look - at the arguments raised against Clinton, especially those fielded as grounds for the hate that has been leveled against her, we see that most of these completely fall apart upon scrutiny and actual analysis. Is it possible for anyone to read this extremely thorough and in-depth analysis (compiled in June, btw, months before the current debate and scandalous tape drama, etc.) and defend the irrational hate against Clinton?
Anyways, I don't want to get in to a huge debate about this here. Internet discussions can be so tiresome. I've said my piece and I'll just leave those links here for anyone reading this to examine and honestly consider. If they couldn't convince you, I doubt anything I could add would do the trick, so with that said, I'll be going my merry way and let you go yours as well :)

giggle - I loved the comment by Trump about the second round of Clinton emails, where he says "who the hell sends that many emails, is she just sitting there all day typing these things" - and I thought yes Donald, she very well could be, it's called 'Work' - LOL - then I thought that perhaps if he'd spent half the amount of time he has spent avoiding taxes, and filing for bankruptcy, he might have sent just as many emails - who can say ! :-P

Nancy Regan. She was a pretty strong leader to my understanding and I have no reason to personally DESPISE her.
Yes, I know she's dead. Still a better option.

I do not envy Americans one bit. The lengths both camps are going to, to try and convince themselves their candidates is better than the other. Pointing out flaws in the other and ignoring their candidates own. Assigning degrees of 'badness' to the things their candidates have done. "Yes X did this, but it's not as bad as what Y did". Reality is, both candidates suck, and I'm just glad I live in a country where I don't really have a choice who the president is.... :-D
Ok I kid... but from where I'm standing whoever wins this election, the whole of America is going to lose in some way.

There's a staggering number of people not voting for their candidate but against the other one.

I absolutely believe it. And that's really dangerous. Either way it's going to be a rough 4 years for America.

It interesting to see how close the results of the poll here are with the popular vote numbers. I'm referring to the numbers below the map, not the ones at the top that represent the likelihood of winning based on how the US election system works.

Really would have liked to have more than those two. I voted and wrote in a name.
Would stay home before I voted one of them.
This election feels like you can vote Clinton and take a figurative shotgun blast to the foot or you can vote Trump and put the Barrel in your mouth. And with all the leaks are showing, it is starting to look like you are putting the barrel in your mouth with both of them.

When you make a bold claim, the burden of proof is on you.
Comment has been collapsed.
Interesting that you deflect a such a standard query by immediately devolving your argument into personal attacks. A bold strategy, indeed.
Comment has been collapsed.
That's not an attack, it's a fact. He is too lazy to search, so he forces me to do it for him. It's like I got a whole folder with proof against Hillary and need to post it all one by one, instead of someone considering the fact that I didn't read it 10 secs ago, but days or weeks and I don't still have the link of the place I did read it. ^^

I read somewhere about a link between the SG user kapy and ISIS. It is a fact, go look it up.
Do you see why the burden of proof falls to the accuser? The same principle applies to "innocent until proven guilty."
Comment has been collapsed.
Difference is that reading your own history for the past history can prove what I said, but reading my own history, you'll most likely in the worst case you'll see me as racist.
Hillary was proven guilty hundred of times and everyone either ignores it, or excuses with some broken logic. So I don't see the logic in your comparison. ^^

Easy.
The government emails on private server, which got leaked.
Done, one which is well known to all and it's illegal as fuck and she should of gotten jailed only for that alone. ^^
Proof? Google " Hillary + Emails", then go and read the American laws. I don't plan to copy paste your own laws. ^^
Comment has been collapsed.
Okay good, you've got the first part-- make a claim. The second part is verifying said claim with a credible source. I'll give you an example:
I refute your claim as incorrect (in this case, my claim would be rejecting your claim).
"No criminality in Clinton emails" - BBC (the BBC is an internationally recognized and respected news source)
Comment has been collapsed.
You gave proof to what I said, aka that she leaked government emails from a private server, which is illegal... US laws state that alone makes her guilty.
Secondly this video was made after the FBI agent who investigated her was found dead? Cheers.
Comment has been collapsed.
Erm yeah? Actually you should watch few of her interviews as well... How she supports one time stuff that got the war in Arabic states going and few months later she claims she never did it... I mean she aint that guilty... just signed the documents leading to this current state... And obviously no judge will claim she's guilty publically, if you didn't notice she has bough a lot of people for her campaign... YouTubers, movie stars, singers ect ect... How do you actually fight that ? ^^
Comment has been collapsed.
facepalm facepalm facepalm
FBI works for Hillary, that's pretty much how the emails magically got "Ok" status... watch interview of Hillary from 6 months ago and one from 1 month ago over the same subject... One time she says "I support ect ect ect" next time she's like "I don't support ect ect ect"...
That women is literally "I give my opinion, but see the ppl on the net don't like it so I suck dick next time so I can be cool for them"... Government works for her interests as well... Bloody deals with different countries to make money for herself... Trump gave proof to many of these craps already... The hacked emails by Russia... Why dafaq would Russia hack them if they are so "clean" as the "FBI" recently stated, after the accident with the guy investigating it?
Sure if I got legit proof... so tomorrow I might have an "accident" as well? That's how your "democracy" works... Liars lie, steal and corrupt, while people who have proof get removed with an "accident"...
Look how I'll go deep in details and give random proof to a corrupt department, which works for that hag...
So yeah, how do you actually fight that? Welcome to America, the place where freedom of speech is allowed as long as the corrupt leaders can steal and act cool infront the TV... Give proof and you get an accident and later that "proof" is proven "fake"... Cheers yet again... TBH if trump wins the elections I wont be surprised if he magically get assassinated... with an "accident"...

What? No one is deifying anyone. Hillary deserves just as much scrutiny as any presidential nominee. Which is exactly why we are asking you to expound on some concrete details instead of just saying "she's a criminal, google it!!!"
It's not a ploy to "get" or "trick" you (which is the only reason I can think of to explain your immediate hostility). Sources help legitimately illustrate your point, and by all accounts, should bolster your arguments so that others (like me) can understand you better.
Comment has been collapsed.
Excuse me? It's an opinion? Then why do you ask for proof? Last time I checked the opinion is my own and I am free to express it openly, without having to give any sort of side information or "proof", about it... Or you forgot you're living in a democracy?
Comment has been collapsed.
If you consider my opinion as a fact, then what's the point of giving you facts, if you already accepted it as one? Clearly it's true if you believe in it, without proof and a fact is something you believe in... ^^ So you give proof, as you already accepted it from an opinion to a fact.

When asked why she’s not registered to vote, Lark says she doesn’t like “the system” because it “stifles human interaction” and “emphasizes discord.”
“Why do we have two political parties in direct opposition?” Lark says. “We should have as many parties as there are colors—and then we should throw that many parties and everyone should have some cake. That’s how we solve racism.”

Just latching on here.
You know those old people you like to make fun of? The conservative, tea-party seniors who watch Fox News 24 hours a day and say crazy, racist shit at Thanksgiving dinner? Quick note on them: they vote. They always vote. They vote like it’s a goddamn religion. Meanwhile, the vast majority of people in your age group couldn’t find a voting booth with a state-of-the-art GPS stuffed up their ass. Take a look at the graph above again. See the information on the right? It was put together in 2014 by the Pew Research Center. At the bottom of all of those bars you’ll see a segment called “Bystanders.” This refers to people “On the sidelines of the political process who are not registered to vote and pay very little attention to politics.” With seniors that segment is at only 3%. In your age group that same segment skyrockets to nearly 20%. Do you see a pattern developing here?
I realize that it’s difficult to appreciate the value of historical perspective when you’re too young to actually have any. But you know who does have a little historical perspective? Seniors. And maybe that’s one of the reasons they are so serious about voting. Because unlike you, they’ve been around long enough to know that voting booths are the place where shiny new political movements go to die. And maybe they also know that rallies with twenty or thirty thousand people may seem amazing and powerful while you are at them, but voting is the real difference between a large political movement and a large political circle-jerk.
And in regard to so much of the attitude I’m seeing — No matter how much we plead for you to get involved and no matter how fiercely you are courted by politicians, the majority of you steadfastly refuse to express any interest in voting. And yet somehow there is no end to your bitter and entitled disappointment with the American electoral system. Really, it’s like watching a bunch of vegans bitch about how pork doesn’t taste as good as it used to. And quite frankly, it takes a particularly special pair of stones to vote this badly and then have the fucking gall to claim that your vote was suppressed. So here’s your free wake-up call from Uncle Mike: nobody needs to go to the bother of suppressing your vote. You’re doing that just fine on your own. Quite frankly, all anyone who’s worried about the “youth vote” needs to do is let you be you.
History, as the saying goes, is made by those who show up. You don’t.

Generally, the electoral must respect the trend of their respective district's majority vote. Ideally, those same popular voters would have also participated in the election of those electoral voters as well. The reason the electoral college has become such an issue, is that poor voter turnout leaves the electoral college much more power to influence outcomes. Especially when you take into account the abysmal voter turnout for anything not presidential, it's easy to see how quickly the disconnect forms between the electoral college and the voting populace.
tl;dr: If everyone participated in the political system, electoral votes shouldn't ever contradict popular majority.
