I bought the Half Life 2 2006 Holiday Collection with Half Life 2, Episode 1 and Half Life Source in 2007.
Then I ignored the account for 3 1/2 years until the Second Humble Bundle and now I have 719 Games on it

A friend wanted me to try Garrysmod with him. So i bought the Garrysmod + Counterstrike: Source bundle back in 2010. Been on Steam eeever since.

Becuse all the fucking games i buy these days need Steam... if steam did not exist i would NOT be using it...

That's the same reason I joined Steam. I couldn't pass up on free Portal.

At the time all my friends were playing terraria and saying how good it was so I asked my friend and he said get steam and buy it so I did and actually prefer pc gaming now but still a casual xbox gamer too

I registered my copy of the original Half-Life a lifetime ago, long before Steam, but when I joined Steam years later, my original content was already there. So, I suppose I joined Steam years before Steam was a thing. But I only started using Steam when I activated my Orange Box key.
