Instead of a clever answer, I'm going to recommend honesty. Until she knows that you know, she thinks that what she is doing is harmless and has no effect on anyone. Letting her know that it bothers you puts both of you on the same page. If she's borrowing because she's lost her own, then it's only a matter of time until she loses yours. By establishing boundaries, she may still lose her own stuff, but she'll show more respect for yours. Bottom line, if she wants something, she MUST ASK FOR IT.

Wait, most siblings ask before borrowing stuff? I always took it for granted that something would be missing from my room at some point. Hell, my siblings even eat food off my plate without a second thought.
