Code Geass and Death Note are the best of all. 'Cause they show us people who want tj change the World. And 2 common but very smart students got the Ultimate power.
If u like Mind Games these ones are the best.

Defining something as "the best" is difficult for me as i have trouble rating things so i will just copy and paste the list of shows that i have enjoyed and would rewatch over and over again. there are also some other's that im probably missing and there is a lot on my back log ( such as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gurren Lagann. The Melancholy Of haruhi Suzumiya, and Zetsuen no Tempest which im currently watching).Hack Sign, Angel Beats, Another, Baccano!, Clannad, Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, Darker Than Black, Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, Dragon Ball and Dragonball Z, Fate Stay Night, Fate Zero, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Guilty Crown, Gundam Wing, Hyouka, Hellsing Ultimate, Kara No Kyoukai - The Garden of Sinners [ love the soundtrack of these movies <3 ], Kimi Ni Todoke, Toaru Majutsu no Index series and railgun S, Toradora, True Tears, Sword Art Online [first half as afterwards it drops heavily for me), Princess Mononoke (pretty much anything from miyazaki, and i just list that as it was the first movie i was introduced to by him. that or it was valley of the wind), Zero No Tsukaima, Monogatari series, inuyasha [ need to rewatch to confirm so this is on here due to childhood memories ]

if you restricted it to a certain Genre then i could probably pick out which ones i consider the best.

Steins;Gate is one of the best anime of all time. It's fiction, but also quite realistic, so the science part is actually quite convincing for once. In term of action, I'd go hands down with Katanagatari. It aired at 1 episode per month for a year, so the buildup was awesome, but the series is crazy good too. Action, witty dialogue, and quite original art too. In term of comedy, I'd go with either Baka to Test or Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou. Both star high-school students, but one is just plain crazy, and the other is so realistic and yet so funny. Haven't been a fan of comedy for ages, but those anime really brought me back into it. And finally, the random anime that is actually quite good even though you might not expect it: Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Watch it, and don't be fooled by its "magical girls" appearance.

My favorite anime series is Mononoke ( just watch it it's awesome), after that Yu Yu Hakusho and Death Note. My favorite anime movies are Ghibli movies, especially Howl's moving castle and Spirited away.

I've seen Mononoke (not to be confused with Princess Mononoke). Its so trippy and weird. I liked it though.

Trigun, Baccano!, and Princess Mononoke are my favorites, but I also liked FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Claymore, and most other Hayao Miyazaki movies a lot.

Sakurasou No Pet Na Kanojo

The title makes it seem like a poorly written Ecchi, and I think the first episode can sort of come off the same way as well to some people, but this is definitely the best anime I have ever seen, and I don't think it will ever relinquish that title.

This is for series though, when it comes to movies, it's probably one of Miyazaki's, although I'd have to re-watch all of them to decide which one I like the best.
