Is Witcher 3 confirmed? It is in the store now and for sale.

+1 .. I think all the free games have been in "coming soon" state instead of being on store for people to buy.. so we arent getting that one probably

It´s a really great gift from Epic...I only hope we can use the rewards from the premium edition of Epic Games in our Steam edition user...
Btw, people you should try claiming the game from the launcher... This is the only way for now... since the web is satured...

Finally got mine. Used the app instead of the browser. Took a little long. Just want to play the single player again. Havent played this since 2015.
Could care less about multi

Did you turn on 2Fa? That is a requirement now to get free games. Not sure if this is your issue.

Website is completely dead, I get 403 Forbidden.
From epic launcher, after several tries first I got polish then turkish, english then polish again, finally I managed to claim the game when the launcher was in Italian. I guess it worked out somehow

Is there anybody that has these been getting these games but never played a single second of any of them?
I just have no incentive to play games on Epic's launcher, especially games I already have on Steam.
I haven't even bought anything on Epic's store either. They give me these £10 coupons, but I never use them. It just shows how far behind Epic's launcher is when the free games and coupons aren't getting me to play any games on it.

Ofc I play there only games I don't own on Steam. Because Steam is still my main library (yet)

I haven't bought a single game off of Epic, but did get all of the free games. I enjoyed a few off them, especially Subnautica.
For free games I guess it's okay, but I don't think I'd ever buy a game off of them. Maybe if they kept giving away games for free for a few more years, I'd consider it. Who knows, they might even have a shopping cart by then.

That is how I am. If Epic would actually integrate features into their launcher, like achievements, then maybe they could entice me to play games on their store, but as things are, I may as well just play the game on Steam.

I'm playing the hell out of Subnautica and Farming sim 19. Aside from trying a few games out, I havent touched other ~100 freebies

Because of a need to not have all your eggs in one basket anymore:
http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/im-longer-buying-games-steam-opinion/
its totally possible for such services to shut down, just like these have:
https://techraptor.net/content/games-republic-shutting
and Desura.. (which had great things not found elsewhere)
or some do strange things, like Green man gaming that revoked our credit when reworking their credit system.
https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDealsMeta/comments/3ps4g8/green_man_gaming_regarding_the_credit_situation/
They never saw me again, sale-wise. Some users even complain that their trustpilot reviews get deleted, advise serious caution. https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.greenmangaming.com?languages=en&
Some learned the hard way, but its still obviously up to you if you want to keep all your eggs in one basket. If something were to ever happen to your steam account, whether ban, lock, dissolving, deletion etc etc. it sounds to me like you will have nothing else.

I have 118 games on EGS already, mostly given for free but some of them bought with real money (thank God for Epic's endless $10 coupons and record-cheap prices), and have had great fun playing some of them.
Assassin's Creed Origins Gold Edition $9.24, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order $9.08, Control $5.4, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 Ultimate Edition $9.59, Phoenix Point (pre-order) $4.99, etc, you cannot get these cheaper anywhere else on the planet (except with subscription plans like Origin Access, and sometimes Uplay Store match their own prices on EGS).

Because they're free. I also like to think that eventually, Epic's platform will improve enough to get me to actually play games on it.

If you have played GTA Online already then no you will not get any premium content because it is linked to your Rockstar account. If you haven't played online yet then I don't actually know if it'll show up on your Steam version if you play it on Epic first.
NOTE:
The $1,000,000 bonus cash in GTA Online included with the Premium Edition as part of the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack may take up to 7-10 days after the player’s first session in GTA Online to be reflected in their in-game User Account. This bonus cash is only available to first-time Starter Pack owners.

Someone on Reddit claims that it's possible though

Ya only problem there is that no one has actual proof yet. A lot of comments are saying it's not showing up for them but it does say may take up 7-10 days for it to show up.
I think I'll just start the online on Epic version and wait for content to show up and then see if maybe it shows up for Steam version. If it doesn't then it's not that a big of a deal to me.

But the wording might suggest that if you just own the standard version of GTA V (on steam or rockstar) you might get those extra goodies inside the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack.
"only available to first-time Starter Pack owners"
reminds me a lot of how twitch prime bonuses are handled for GTA.
Hoping for the best

so i read an article the other day saying GTA V will probably go Free To Play on steam too. as a marketing plot for GTA 6 and making more money from the online side
Comment has been collapsed.
this is not a marketing play from rockstar, none of the games Epic is giving away are coming from their publishers, Epic is banking each copy out of their own wallet, that's the fornite money for you.
