That moment my wife's computer can get on epic no issue and mine gets the Error 500. XD

And now all who blame epic that they steal private information crush them servers.

I'm glad they really chose it as the new game, so I don't have a reason to log in this week (I definitely won't get it :P )

To this day, no Epic freebies have been tempting enough for me to create an account. Now, if they were to offer Snowrunner, that'd be another story. Of course, that won't happen since it's a new game but one can dream.

does anyone knows how this works with rockstar games? can i use the rockstar launcher instead of epic games one?

I own it on Steam but I redeemed it because why not. I just realized the pretty good size of my library from all the free games I got from Epic since they started giving them away. I have bought 3 games from them over the last year too. Also, they have a mega sale going right now and you get a $10 off coupon to use and you get another one after every purchase. I know I'm picking up at least a game or two I've been wanting.

Tried getting it for a couple of hours on the website. Nada. Even getting 403 Forbidden now. Tried the Epic Launcher. Took a couple of tries over a few minutes, but got the order processed now. YMMV.

Checked my library. It's there, but "unavailable". Maybe some sort of nanny or age lock, rechecked store, clicked yes for mature game warning, now it can be installed.

TIP: Use Epic Launcher

I went to US store but got error then got redirected to ES store. I went ahead and redeemed it there and it worked. I thought it might have some region restriction but doesn't look like it. Emailed me the receipt and it lists the cost as 0.00 USD.

That reminds me I have to add it to my Steam wishlist, not going to use their platform even for this.

Not sure if this will help others and I don't know why this would happen but on Chrome I get 403 Forbidden error whereas on Firefox it works fine.

Tried 3 times before I was able to checkout.

Anyone who download this (~90GB). Can you confirm, if you bind the R$tar social club account, you can play without EP!C launcher? Thanks!

The game seems to be redeemable from the Epic Launcher. For me it didn't work by using the browser. If it doesn't work from the browser try launching their client a couple times and it'll eventually work. I think they prioritized their launcher over the external browser based requests.
