silent hill: homecoming. besides not being scary at all, the game has game breaking bugs everywhere. bugs that corrupt your save files, bugs that change your controls without you knowing and double-bind keys AS YOU ARE PLAYING. and the worst part of it was they never put out a single patch.

The Witcher 2.
Not because it's a bad game, but because I preordered it for full price and I still haven't played it yet. It sells for $10 on sale now.
I just wish I waited.

Without any doubt: Magicka
Maybe it's not a bad game (playing coop with friends etc) but it's too demanding for my laptop's gpu.

BULLETSTORM (from Origin though). That game was ok, but the multiplayer was horrible and replay value was next to none

My most regretful purchase from Steam is buying "Trackmania United Forever Star Edition" for £19,99 when there's a free version of the game available.
What's your most regretful purchase and why?
