Here we go, I'll start.

Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10

Rogue One....
Decent...
Spolier -> glad that all the protagonists died or the movie would have been pointless

I had never heard about that Italian movie, the more I enjoyed it. Just the music alone ... 9/10.

Manchester by the Sea

eh.... i very much understand what the point of the film was, to show a cut of someones life that you dont normally see in movies, he has his reasons for it and so on, i trought it was boring as hell xD

The Video Dead
Its not a B-movie, its Shot on Shiteo.
I strongly believe a family of hillbillies filmed it and secretly put the VHS on the shelves.
I don't know to whom this is for, i can't even imagine this being good material for RLM.
This copy came with Terrorvision, which is a pretty solid B-movie.
Really the only thing they have in common is Television has a gateway to something evil.
I'll give it that, it's impressive they manage to go over 90 min without a structure. There Is a TV and then...random shit happens, i guess?
0/10
Arrival
It's a 2 hour class on Linguistics. And circles, circles everywhere
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fULNUr0rvEc
Need to watch it again. Its not like i was expecting to be so complex with little details everywhere...the previous movie Sicario was incredibly linear and simple.
8/10
Train to Busan
The train is a pretty good location for a zombie apocalypse movie
They make good usage of stops, tunnels and junctions...if you are looking for action, its got you covered.
But really, these characters are incredibly generic, you can tell what the resolution for each character would be. Well not all of them, i hoped awful things for one of them, this movie was too forgiving of its villains.
6/10
The Jungle Book
Fell asleep. what i watched was kinda odd. Like there are small decisions everywhere, that are either pointless or just plain weird.
Well, it's a gorgeous movie at least
3/10

Fun with Dick and Jane. Love Jim Carrey, not one of his best but offers just enough throughout to keep you engaged. Also some very funny moments that always has me in stitches haha. 3.5 / 5

John Wick: Chapter 2
The sequel goes deeper into the underbelly of the secret agency of assassins, inside the continental.
Remaining almost entirely an action packed movie where the director/Stunt Coordinator shows off his skills.
A huge upgrade over the previous one, Quite impressive. One scene in particular you usually get to see in animation.
The sound is perfect, Best gunplay i have ever seen. This time, a lot of work was put into the close combat as well, while the previous one felt more like Keanu was left doing his own hand to hand choreography.
There were some awkward lines between Keanu and Laurence Fishburne. Keanu was trying to match Fishburne acting, while he was going for the usual, over the top cheesy performance.
The ending makes me believe the next installment won't be as interesting, plot wise. It is certainly ridiculous and over the top.
8/10
The Girl on the Train
...what a mess. I haven't read whatever novel this was adapted from, i don't read much.
I get the feeling the execution wasn't right. There is a huge amount of themes going on. There are 3 important character each with their own stories, but viewed by the main character has a spectator but not always, sometimes you get to see some small moments of their lifes.
Its not like the 3 stories compliment each other either, that kinda makes everything seem more convinient.
it doesn't end there, you can add 2 different types of narration. and its all saturated with very selective overexposure...otherwise it would destroy every twist und turn, of which there are a couple.
Whats really funny, is that it starts with a nod at Rear Window and It would work if they kept it simple like that, except on a train and alcoholism has the disability,
I enjoyed it, not in a so bad its good way, i legit thought it was fucked up. The great actors helped a bit too
6/10
Hospital Massacre (X-ray)
Almost Solid slasher set in a hospital, with playboy´s playmate Barbi Benton. Starts slow, it's pretty silly but eventually delivers on B-movie goodness.
5.5/10
Fences
I have a soft spot for stage play like adaptations. Both Denzel and Viola are amazing, And well, the usage of a real house on a real neighborhood is a good addition.
Other than that, it's a pretty old play and a rather accessible one. I do love the ending though.
8/10

Pretty much agreed about The Girl on the Train. I found it awfully confusing with people looking similar with similar names, initially unclear relationships...lots of context and POV changes. It probably would have been fine as a book. But it still was well-acted, interesting, and compelling. I wanted to know more, but I kept getting sidetracked.

Saw John Wick 2 and The Girl on the Train in the cinema. John Wick was amazing, audiovisual orgy for the senses! The Girl was very good too IMO although could have been better.

Went to see Logan yesterday and really liked it, might be my favourite X-Men movie. Took three tries to not have a movie about a guy with knives coming out of his hands be PG-13.

Went to see John Wick 2 yesterday. This movie was impressive imo, a worthy sequel. The choreographies and scenarios... and supported by a great OST and cast. Just look at the whole catacombs sequence and the last one inside that modern art gallery... It´s been a while since I enjoyed a movie so much. They play a lot with paranoia in certain parts of the film. This movie surely required lots of tactical training with weapons and mixed martial arts, and any gun enthusiast will appreciate this. Such a great vision from all the direction. If you like action films, you´ll love this one.

Not based on The Wailing. This was a book that came out years ago. Sorry. You would like to read it though, it's great. Check it out on Amazon. Glad you liked the movie.

One of my favorite movies :D
For some reason it will be in a theater near me along with The Age of Shadows , i'm considerably thinking of paying just to see the "plot" on a big screen.
I hope we start getting better release dates for Korean cinema
