Ah, right, the friggin' bar, should've remembered immediately. It's Guardian Heroes (vanilla OG of Saturn's, to be precise), sheesh.
The last time I've played through it (100%'ing everything) was in 2011~2012. I'll pass, 'cause I currently don't have enough spare time.

It predates Shenmue by several years... and new pic up.

You got it! Sad to see how this great game has remained completely unknown or forgotten decades later.

I played it, but I was too late to answer (was away and too busy). Oh well. Same devs (not company, though, just some of the dev people) as Kowloon's Gate, BTW FYI. There was a couple more from the same people. If I recall correctly, something with a "zodiac" word in the title, I think, but I don't remember well, and also the another cult classic (Quintet, was co-developed with Zeque) - Planet Лайка (fully translated version/translation patch can be obtained online, if you wish. This one is a truly...interesting...experience).

It's good, but quite unorthodox, requires high enough IQ to fully comprehend/process what's going on in it and how the game operates in overall. Also one of the very few games out there which used Square's in-house built Final Fantasy VIII engine. There's only a handful of video games which used that engine, the very first one being first Parasite Eve (which was used as a "prototype" and "testing field", before that engine was fully utilized in FF VIII shortly after), and the last one being licensed-from-Square copy of it which Aruze/Sacnoth used for the first Shadow Hearts (a.k.a. "Koudelka II"), so the very last game to use that engine wasn't even Square's own property/IP, but a game by ex-Square's devs which the said devs licensed from their previous place of work. Hilarious.
P.S. Original (before the half-reboot half-remake on the PS 2 became a thing...which itself was later further "expanded" on the PSP) Zill O'll also licensed that engine from Square (Koei did it), but, unlike with Shadow Hearts' case, Zill O'll's Koei devs didn't just get the engine, but also nearly copy-pasted some of the FF VIII's assets for their game outright, so-much-so that it's downright uncanny:

This isn't the game I was looking for to guess, but I'll try.
Tactics Ogre: Reborn?
Comment has been collapsed.
I think Arcadian Atlas is the game I was trying to think of before.
The art style doesn't match, but I will guess it anyway to give you a bump.

I did a curiosity search after my guess, and it image matched super easily.
So now I know what it is, but can't guess any more.
I had heard of, but not played the game in question anyway.

I guess you could say that Operations got it 1/2 right, then!

...hmmmm.....Turok 2008 (I'm roughly 80% certain, due to how very "specifically" Turok 2008's assets/textures/models/lighting/designs looked like. The game itself was mediocre at best, but it had very "distinct" look to it, which made it "memorable enough")?

*2008
Turok 2008. It always needs to be specified directly, exactly and properly, what it is.
This particular take differs quite a lot from any and every other Turok entry released up-to-that-point, so, as I've already mentioned before - it has very distinct look to it, nearly "exclusive" in how it's modeled/textured/shaded/designed, so it (despite being a pretty mediocre product as a game) is actually quite memorable by the sheer looks of it. Many people remember it ONLY by how it looks.
P.S. I'll pass, as I don't have enough free time to run games or/and take screenshots from them right now. Maybe I'll do it next time.

Nice, just about worked out I was looking at a floor plan and not some ancient runic carving.
Also if you had asked me to clarify which version, I would have guessed 2015 from the texture quality.

I was going to guess Citadels, then I realized that that game is trash and you probably would not have it wishlisted.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yep not Citadels, though I wishlist a lot of stuff before release that could turn out to be trash.
Will add another pic in a little bit.

No, that one I do remember, and it is in my library already.

Your game looks a lot older, but I'll try One Military Camp?

it's always a welcome surprise to see runescape being mentioned outside of the runescape bubble, i still love the game, playing it as we speak :D

It's a special game :) I played it for probably thousands of hours from 2018 to 2020 (and before when I was younger) I want to start playing again soon, I'm sure I've missed a lot! It just gets too addicting lol :D

a lot of new content for sure, took me a while to catch up but once you get back on the grind its smooth nostalgic sailing from there

What is a boogaloo?
The Electric Boogaloo is a dance style that became meme-ified to denote crazy sequels, as popularized by the 1984 film Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. While we are not break dance battling here, it is kind of like a screenshot battle and hence, the "screenshot boogaloo".
