Like the most my first buy was Orange Box..

Red Orchestra 2 - Borderlands, back in 2011 i think, though the account is far older.

Prior to that was Portal for free.

Portal, for free. That's also why I made a Steam account.

both Left 4 Dead & Left 4 dead 2 :)

Not counting the fact that I bought keys to open boxes on TF2, My fist game purchase was Bioshock, Do not regret it.

FEAR complete pack is the first that shows for me in store transactions. Before that I had activated my physical copies of Half-Life and Half-Life 2.

I created my account when Portal was free through the "Learning With Portals" promotion, but the first thing I actually bought for my account was Humble Bundle 5 according to my account history. I swear I thought I had games before that but I guess not.

1st steam acc: Half life 2 + Counter-Strike:Source + Half life Deathmatch. (in 2004)
2nd steam acc: Counter-Strike 1.6

If we count retail, then Half-life Platinum Pack, then Half-Life 2. ( Already played Half-Life and its expansions to death but I could not register the keys on steam for some reason. So I decided to just go ahead and get the one I know for sure would work :P ) I also got into the Red Orchestra beta. It was one of the reasons why I made my account.. at the time I was a bit.. apprehensive of steam.. now I have over 200 games on steam.. lol

If we are not counting retail and ones from steam itself. Then the Orange Box would be my first purchase on steam. Followed by Garry's Mod, STALKER Shadows of Chernobyl, and Left4Dead. ( could go on to list the games I bought in order.. but no point..

That first purchase ( the retail ones ) was back in 2005.

World of goo... Is the only game I bougth in steam because all the games I get are from tremorgames or trading with tf2 keys XD I bougth it to use the market only

Knights of The Old Republic. I had played a pirated version when it first came out and wanted to buy it so I don't feel guilty.
It seems that I was feeling very guilty since I gathered 400+ games since then.

First was free ATI Half-Life 2: Deathmatch / Half-Life 2: Lost Coast Promo that is why i created steam account bu if was free. It was 10.2.2008 (DD/MM/YYYY date format) i did not use steam anymore but then 4.11.2012 first bought ever was CS:GO :D i checked it in my account history :D
