How often do you get a scam message?
no I mean the people who (try) to add you and then out of the blue send you a message containing a link which supposedly is a steamlink but then with something like steaamunity.com/434323432blablabla clearly fake and when you click it it contains a virus which hijacks your profile and sets that same message to all your friends and steals everything out of your inventory.

I receive a lot of invites from [unassigned] and level 0 people, recently some changed the speech to something like "we held a giveaway in our group and you won, please add a second admin to claim your prize: [link]..."
It's getting tedious...

I keep getting friend requests from people with Level 0 private profiles and scam link comments.... and every single time I have to check Steamgifts and other giveaways to see if I won something before ignoring this person... Real annoying...

I've wrote a small message on my profile: if somebody uses a private account and wants to add me, s/he should leave a notice beforehand on my profile. And yet at average 1-2 private profiles add me each day. After my little message I don't have to think about "But what if it's not a bot" - either a bot, or can't read a relatively easy, short sentence. Either way it's better for me without them :D

I don't get the messages everyday, but I do get invites, multiple times. When a scammer posts a comment on my profile I go to theirs, report for attempted trade scam and block all communication. It's just a symbolic thing though, what's reporting/blocking one twat's gonna do when there are endless waves of them? Sure, Valve can't eradicate every single one with a command line and a click, but for the quantity of scammers on steam, it feels like not a whole bunch of fucks are being given.

Multiple times a day. I get 1-2 friend request per day from 0-1 lvl accounts.
Steam should really not allow any account which has not purchased games or has not been registered for a year to send a friend request. Want friends? Buy or wait a year. So simple yet so hard.

Rarely, but I get a few from time to time.
As far as I know, the amount you receive is according to trading websites you frequently use, such as TF2Outpost.

I'm really curious about this as I get a message with a clearly fake adres and a message about how their friends wants to add you or that you have won something. I'm so irritated by this shit and I hope Valve takes some action soon.
Also what is the type of message you get most? For me it's the "my friend wants to add you but couldn't' message today I got the "you won something clcik here" message for the first time.
