Do you have a girlfriend that is into video games?
"Do you have a girlfriend that is into video games?"
I'm the girlfriend without a boyfriend that is into video games. :3
you could play Trine together or Borderlands or Torchlight, depends on what she likes more. Maybe even some CIV games.
OR she just watches you playing, as long as she is interested :)
/ just noticed that you are looking for sp games... life is strange, scribblenauts, the wolf among us, tales from the borderlands. Since you mentioned Stardew Valley, I can tell you that the game is much fun <3

I think give her adventure point & click game first, (like Monkey Island 3, Machinarium, Black Mirror, Syberia, Broken Sword 1-2, Myst, Grim Fandango, Deponia.... and such) , this is how I started to play and still love them most, after this give some single platformers, and late go to RPG, since they more complicated and require action and such

Trine 2.
Either play as hero saving her from danger (if she can't play well and is clumsy with it), or when she can play - use wizard to make her life miserable by throwing cages and planks at her / block her way out and so on. Always work :D
Yes, I'm terrible. But it can be fun to annoy people like that :D

Nope.
There is difference between "Oh mi gosh, you've beaten me again in this game! I hate you! I completely hate you!! I will never play with you again!!" Said in joyful rage-like atmosphere while trying to be angry but in fact you're happy and maybe little annoyed, and after this rage burst you sit next to someone and eat cheetos while talking about cloud formations.
And "John, why have you made fun of me in front of my friends? I have already told you that I don't want you to do this. It's not funny, their opinion is important to me and I'd want you to stop doing this over and over again." <so in total angry - fight atmosphere, when you're angry at someone and want them to behave differently / treat you better and so on>, and all you're getting from trying to say that you feel bad in a relationship is "Oh baby, I think you're cute when you're angry". Nah John, you're an asshole who doesn't want to acknowledge your gf feelings and needs, so you take out this "you're cute when you're angry" useless text. She's not cute angry. She's most probably shouting, angry and sometimes crying over something.
That's difference between being in teasingly, cute, annoyed, fake angry state and full, deep argue state. First is cute, 2nd is serious and people should think about their behavior instead of using "you're always too emotional" "you're cute when angry" excuses to not be forced into changing their ways.

I guess you have very specific situations where the girl is in "the right" set up in your mind so I can hardly argue with those. But it does sound a bit like you're trying to argue that whenever a girl is angry "for real", and not in this joyful rage-like way, they guy should just change their ways.
Maybe I just don't understand this cute angry stuff because I've never been exposed to it though. I'm missing out in life :P

+1 to Life is Strange
I've let my sister play this game and she loved it. She finished the first episode and literally forced me to buy her Season pass.
Me: "Ok, give me some time so I could find the best price"
Her: "No, BUY it NOW! Don't look for discounts! I will give you full money back regardless of what the price is!"
She loved this game :)
Also, if You want to play some coop... I highly recommend Super Mario Bros X (search for game name in Google and it should be the very first result). It's a fanmade Super Mario game that combines features and things from many different Mario games (SNES era) and some other games. The most interesting and probably the most enjoyable thing is that You can both play AT THE SAME TIME on single screen (which is actually a smart one, find how good it is yourself!). My sister enjoyed this game a lot, so I did. I would happily play it once and once again since there are more episodes which I never played (Since fans can make their own episodes).
Actually this was one of the BEST games I've EVER played with my sister in which we both had a lot of fun :)

It is not exactly a Google game but it is based on Google Maps:
https://geoguessr.com/
(GEO GEO GEO GEO!!)
I played it sometimes and like it but it's really hard to guess the place sometimes as even Canada / Sweden / Australia can look the same in some spots.. I think it's very cool!

As a girl who started playing nearly 20 years ago I'd say:
-Grim Fandango
-To the Moon
-Edna & Harvey's both games
-Gray Matter
-Monkey Island
-Syberia 1 and 2
-The Longest Journey
-Broken Sword games
-The Runaway trilogy
-Contrast
About Life is Strange I can't say anything because I haven´t played it yet, but I am eager to start it.
I really loved games like Tomb Raider 2013 or Final Fantasy games, but those might be a little harder (TR2013 has also some blood/dark parts)

Besides the ones mentioned above
Creativerse Minecraftlikish game pretty simple but quite fun [ONLINE only though] but small game if her laptop can handle it on your wifi ;p
The Journey Down One of my favourite point & click adventures unique and fun
Any of these Point & click adventures
Rampage Knights simple challenging and fun local co-op game [not in everyone's taste though :) ]

My gf already played games when I met her :3
(Co-op games are a good choice, try Portal or Battleblock)

My wife started playing, when she saw me playing a Hidden Object Game. Since then we played all HOGs together :) It was House Of 1000 Doors ;)

The LEGO games. They are extremely fun and a second player can jump in any time you want. They also really don't require you to have any experience in gaming either. It also doesn't really matter which one you choose, since most play out very similar, so just get one that is interesting.

Mine got into gaming because of the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series. Yours may try those as well.

Well I play all kinds of games with my girlfriend. We played Assassins Creed, Skyrim, Fallout 3 and 4, and all kinds of other stuff.
She started with Sims but soon after I got her to playing Point and Click Adventures.
Finally I managed to convince her to play open world games like Skyrim. She actually loves gaming by now, except for FPS. She actually played Fallout 4 and I haven't played it yet since I have to many games on my list I still want to finish^^

My girlfriend has recently stuck her feet into the pool of gaming so to speak, and is splashing around a bit. She started off by watching me play Witcher 3 and was really into that but when I offered to let her play for a bit (to walk around Novigrad and talk to people for example) she declined and said she liked to watch me play it more.
I did some research for local co-op games we could both play together and game across Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Trine 1 and 2 etc she very much enjoyed those
But now I would like suggestions for good offline singleplayer games for her to play on her own on her laptop. Games that have a good singleplayer experience, and ones that aren't hard or confusing for players new to video games. Also preferably ones that aren't dark/scary/bloody
So far I've come across as likely candidates
Terraria
Stardew Valley
Slime Rancher
Rayman Legends
Oceanhorn Monster of Uncharted Seas
Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition
Crashlands
