I mean movies are 135 years old now, so it's only natural that some movies have the same name, even if they're completely unrelated.

So how was the movie? The description sounds very late 90s, early 2000s.

True.

It was good, even in 2023. Though plot was getting quite obvious for me. Still I enjoyed it and would recommend

Sometimes it's fun watching movies that are very much of their time. Watched Brainscan (1994) recently and it's as 1994 as it can get. :D

The animation in Across the Spider-Verse was just incredible. I was particularly impressed by the soft, washed out backgrounds when Gwen talks to her dad. Welcome to my WL.

Last movie I watched was The Gray Man. Nice action movie, really nice acting from Chris Evans - had absolutely no compassion for his character at all... Didn't think I would one day actually prefer a character by Ryan Gosling, lol (I don't love him like a lot of people do).
I've seen a lot of reviews saying the story/plot was meh, I think it was okay; it's kind of a no-brainer action movie anyway (even though it's adapted from a novel that was most probably not a "no-brainer"). I liked the relationship between Six and the much younger character that gets introduced a bit later in the movie.

Does it has to be a movie? if it has to, then The covenant, I think it was (our boy Donnie Darko, Jake G). Even Tony Starr (Banshee or Homelander) shows up in there!
Then, shows, The Lord of the Rings, Rings of power? and the absolute last show (last night end of season 1) The Hand of God, (with Hellboy, Ron Perlman).

It's okay I guess, not super generic but not hidden plot twist or mindblown (aside from those from bullets I mean XD)
I enjoy time-travel/loop/mind bending/psychological thrillers ones.. Talking about Jake G, think long time ago I watched "Enemy" (2013) and I liked it. Source code? nightcrawler (spoiler, it's not from X-men!).
Thank you btw!

Nice, very nice! I love the soundtrack of those three, especially Tenki no Ko (Weathering with You).
The movies he made the last decade and a half are all nice, though with varying "types of stories".
5cm per second, Children Who Chase Lost Voices (aka Journey to Agartha), Garden of Words.
