Cypher (1997), Cypher (2002) or Cypher (2022)? Welcome to my WL.

I mean movies are 135 years old now, so it's only natural that some movies have the same name, even if they're completely unrelated.
So how was the movie? The description sounds very late 90s, early 2000s.

Sometimes it's fun watching movies that are very much of their time. Watched Brainscan (1994) recently and it's as 1994 as it can get. :D

I liked that movie. What about you? Welcome to my WL.

Looks very interesting. On my watchlist it goes. And on my whitelist you go!

Great movie! Klaatu Barada Nikto! Didn't really care for The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008), though. Welcome to my WL.

Haven't heard of Rally Road Racers (2023) but that cast is quite something. And have fun with the new Turtles movie, I heard it's very good. Welcome to my WL.

Glad you enjoyed it. Some day I'll watch it, too. Welcome to my WL.

Brendan Fraser definitely deserved that Oscar. What a great performance. Welcome to my WL.

Been a while since I watched this but I remember liking it. You're already on my whitelist, though.

I've watched it but I don't really remember what it was about. Action movies are not really my thing. Welcome to my WL.

The animation in Across the Spider-Verse was just incredible. I was particularly impressed by the soft, washed out backgrounds when Gwen talks to her dad. Welcome to my WL.

Sounds like a good documentary. Can you recommend it? Welcome to my WL.

Probably the best of the new trilogy, but then again, that's not very hard. Welcome to my WL.

How did it stack up to the first one? Welcome to my WL.

The original one? I like that one the best, haven't watched the fourth one yet, though. Welcome to my WL.

Yes, the original one. I thought he wouldn't have made it through without Marcus, but anyway. A movie is a movie. Added you back on my WL :)

The Fourth Kind (2009)
Watched it because some nutjob was on Joe Rogan podcast and they were discussing aliens and dmt again and recommended this movie.

Damn, I remember when this came out, but didn't watch it. And this is the first time I've heard of it again. Welcome to my WL.

Still on my watchlist. It's a good one, right? Welcome to my WL.

Did you know that Jason Mewes streams regularly on Twitch? Welcome to my WL.

Great movie. For another one with the same director and leads, may I recommend The Banshees of Inisherin (2022)? Welcome to my WL.

Last movie I watched was The Gray Man. Nice action movie, really nice acting from Chris Evans - had absolutely no compassion for his character at all... Didn't think I would one day actually prefer a character by Ryan Gosling, lol (I don't love him like a lot of people do).
I've seen a lot of reviews saying the story/plot was meh, I think it was okay; it's kind of a no-brainer action movie anyway (even though it's adapted from a novel that was most probably not a "no-brainer"). I liked the relationship between Six and the much younger character that gets introduced a bit later in the movie.

Does it has to be a movie? if it has to, then The covenant, I think it was (our boy Donnie Darko, Jake G). Even Tony Starr (Banshee or Homelander) shows up in there!
Then, shows, The Lord of the Rings, Rings of power? and the absolute last show (last night end of season 1) The Hand of God, (with Hellboy, Ron Perlman).

It's okay I guess, not super generic but not hidden plot twist or mindblown (aside from those from bullets I mean XD)
I enjoy time-travel/loop/mind bending/psychological thrillers ones.. Talking about Jake G, think long time ago I watched "Enemy" (2013) and I liked it. Source code? nightcrawler (spoiler, it's not from X-men!).
Thank you btw!

Recently watched this and it was a lot better than I expected. Some genuinely scary scenes. Welcome to my WL.

Still on my watchlist. Tomorrow is Totoro's turn but the next Ghibli movie I watch after that (whenever that may be) will the Ponyo. Got a lot to catch up with with Studio Ghibli. Welcome to my WL.

The title song in Ponyo is very cute.
Add the Shinkai movies to the watchlist, too!

I got Your Name. (2016), Weathering with You (2019) and Suzume (2022) on my list already, but I wouldn't know where to go from there. Can you give me some pointers?

Nice, very nice! I love the soundtrack of those three, especially Tenki no Ko (Weathering with You).
The movies he made the last decade and a half are all nice, though with varying "types of stories".
5cm per second, Children Who Chase Lost Voices (aka Journey to Agartha), Garden of Words.
