International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) experts have observed directional anti-personnel mines on the periphery of the site of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said today.

During a walkdown on 23 July, the IAEA team saw some mines located in a buffer zone between the site’s internal and external perimeter barriers. The experts reported that they were situated in a restricted area that operating plant personnel cannot access and were facing away from the site. The team did not observe any within the inner site perimeter during the walkdown.

 “As I have reported earlier, the IAEA has been aware of the previous placement of mines outside the site perimeter and also at particular places inside. Our team has raised this specific finding with the plant and they have been told that it is a military decision, and in an area controlled by military,” Director General Grossi said.

“But having such explosives on the site is inconsistent with the IAEA safety standards and nuclear security guidance and creates additional psychological pressure on plant staff – even if the IAEA’s initial assessment based on its own observations and the plant’s clarifications is that any detonation of these mines should not affect the site’s nuclear safety and security systems. The team will continue its interactions with the plant,” he added.

South Africa's president wants Russia to resume the grain deal, also almost says Putler's gifts are useless

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa called on Vladimir Putin to resume the grain deal and not to block Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea. He expressed appreciation for Russia's offer of free grain supplies to six African countries. However, he emphasized that it was more important for these countries to participate in the grain deal than to receive "charitable aid," according to a transcript on the Kremlin website.
"We proposed to implement the Black Sea grain initiative, we talked about the need to open the Black Sea, we said that we would like the Black Sea to be open to world markets. And we did not come here to ask for some 'gifts' for the African continent. Of course, we understand that out of generosity you decided to donate grain to some African countries that are facing certain difficulties. We have great respect for that, we note that. However, it is not our main goal here, it is not our main goal to achieve any supplies of this nature," Ramaphosa stated.
Russian authorities terminated their participation in the grain deal on July 17.

The Russian Navy in the Black Sea is fucked
[Twitter] - The successful attack by maritime drones of the Russian landing ship in Novorossiysk Bay is an outstanding operation that seriously changes the situation in the Black Sea. Despite enhanced security measures at its largest naval base and largest commercial port, the Russian Navy is unable to defend itself against attacks by Ukrainian maritime drones.
The drones have demonstrated outstanding technical characteristics: to plan an attack on Novorossiysk, you need a drone with a range of more than 1,000 kilometers and a high quality control system. All of this was done literally from scratch, as Ukraine had not developed such weapons before the Russian invasion.
Russia has effectively blocked Ukraine's maritime trade by attacking ports and ships in Ukrainian waters, stealing and exporting Ukrainian grain and metal, and now Ukraine has the capabilities to respond symmetrically.

Russian occupiers are hated by locals

Clearly, the man is distressed after 10 years of occupation. He avoids directly saying whether he is "for" or "against" something, probably aware of potential consequences.
This interaction indicates that the mood on the ground in Donetsk is not what Russians want you to believe.
