An interesting turn of events
In the past Wagner PMC insistently demanded more weapons from the Russian Defense Ministry.
Now the Russian Ministry of Defense is pleased to be supplied with the remnants of weapons from the Wagner PMC. 🤣
[Video on Twitter] - Shoigu, Gerasimov! - here's the ammunition!
Russian defense ministry reported it took over taking over the Wagner PMC equipment and ammunition.
2,500 tonnes of ammunition, 20,000 small arms and more than 2,000 units of military equipment, including hundreds of tanks, MLRS "Grad", "Uragan", SAM "Pantsir", self-propelled artillery systems, armoured personnel carriers and others were taken over by the ministry.
The ministry said that all this will be transported to the rear areas, where repair and recovery units of the Russian Armed Forces will carry out maintenance and prepare them for usage.
It mentioned that dozens of that equipment were never used in combat.
Putler weakness display - Prigozhin still allowed to do business in Russia after his failed coup. Putler completely lacks power over Prigozhin
[Twitter] - Prigozhin's companies signed contracts worth a billion rubles - after the mutiny, Russian media found out.
After June 24, the companies associated with Yevgeny Prigozhin have signed at least 9 contracts worth more than a billion rubles [about $11 million], RTVI found out.
For example, the Prodfutservis company will feed schoolchildren from 2023 to 2025, they were granted 705 million rubles [almost $8 million]. The other suppliers were also Prigozhin-affiliated AVK LLC, Combinat Preschool Catering, a Preschool catering company, and Russotskapital LLC. Other Prigozhin-affiliated customers include Moscow hospitals and schools, as well as the Artek children's camp.
Previous contracts with Prigozhin's companies will not be terminated either.

I read the Dutch news about it. Personally I don't think is pushing it. The country is at war and needs all the support he can get, So he should push it a bit.
That he wants to join NATO right now is understandable. But he also knows it is not an option because it would start WW3. I am pretty sure Ukraine can join NATO instantly after the war.
It saddened me when I saw a negative upvoted comment on a Dutch newssite about that Zelenskyy keeps asking for more. So unfortunately some people do think he pushes it too far. But the majority of the comments on Dutch news sites are supporting a free Ukraine and to keep sending better and more equipment.
There are also an amount of people who say NATO should get involved directly.. With all my heart I wish Ukraine all the help they can get. But if NATO gets directly involved it would mean WW3 and most likely the end of our planet. So I understand Ukraine can't join NATO right now unfortunately.
On a personal note. The people around here (The Netherlands) who don't support Ukraine disgust me. Yeh, a bunch of people struggle financially. But these are so whiny first world problems. Ukraine should be free and it will be.
The news articles and this topic always remind me of my grandpa. He fought for the Dutch resistance in WW2. As a rule nobody really talked about it when the war was over. Of course i did hear some of the stories. (My dad was also already alive during WW2).. I am very proud of my hero grandpa. But we couldn't have won without help from the allies.
So yeh. Ukrainian hero's deserve all the help that is available.

thank you for your kind words, and for your support. It's not easy to keep up, seeing tons of negativity on the internet - Ukraine is a very divisive topic right now, and it almost feels like there's more voices against us than for us.
As for NATO - definitely, Ukraine cannot join it now, because that would activate article 5, and the escalation everyone fears. So for now the best course of action is to help indirectly - weapons, ammo, training. Anything is better than inaction these days, and everything will help to keep more of our people alive, military and civillians.

I understand it's hard but you have to stay strong man.
In all honesty. I am sure most people in the west support Ukraine. It is just a small group that screams the loudest. In general on my normal Dutch news website has mostly pro Ukraine comments and upvotes. Pro Putin people (and even Dutch speaking trolls) aren't taken seriously there.
However on youtube (and probably facebook and twitter too) those simple people find each other and start screaming nonsense. But they are the same group of people that still complain about corona and the vaccination. Who believes the world is ruled by lizard people. They scream a lot, but nobody listens to them. So you really shouldn't either. Don't let a few idiots bring you down.
More importantly. The most leaders of important military NATO countries already stated they will keep supporting Ukraine until the Russian terrorists are gone.

“Most of the people who were portrayed in such stories as ‘victims’ of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were stand-ins, hired individuals. The Russians are trying to create a diversion on the Kupiansk front
'Storm-Z' Convict Units Hinder Russian Offensive in Kupiansk Direction: ISW
Russia's build-up of forces in the Kupiansk area of Ukraine's Kharkiv region is raising concerns that Kyiv's forces will have to draw reserves away from its nascent counteroffensive in the south and east of the country to blunt a new Russian push.
Ukrainian commanders have warned that some 100,000 Russian personnel have massed on the Lyman-Kupiansk portion of the front line, backed by some 900 tanks and 370 multiple launch rocket systems.
[...]
But the ISW also suggested that the forces marshalled on the Kupiansk front pose a limited threat, despite their large numbers.
"The poor quality and composition of Russian troops currently deployed on this line, however, will likely hinder Russia's ability to achieve more than tactically significant gains or make an operationally significant breakthrough," the bulletin wrote.
"Ukrainian and Russian sources have both reported the deployment of convict-formed 'Storm-Z' assault units to the Kupyansk direction, and ISW has previously assessed that 'Storm-Z' units have low operational effectiveness due to poor morale and discipline."
Russia’s Vladimir Putin offered a baffling response to a governor who briefed him on troops killed while feeding the Kremlin’s war machine in Ukraine. Igor Kobzev, the governor of the Irkutsk region, sat down with the Russian leader during a meeting Monday, according to a transcript shared by the Kremlin. After discussing social and economic issues, Kobzev brought up troops deployed from the region and praised them for their “bravery,” noting that 192 local troops had received state awards for their supposed heroics, among them some who were killed. To illustrate his point, he somberly shared an anecdote about a “Hero of Russia” who was killed in Mariupol early last year. “He covered a grenade with his body, thereby saving his fellow soldiers,” he said, adding that “for us they are all heroes, they are in our memory, in our hearts.” Putin, not even bothering to look up from a photograph he was eyeing, muttered simply, “Tell them I said hello.” “Absolutely,” Kobzev said.

Russian terrorist and pro-war blogger Igor Girkin is under arrest
[Twitter] - Girkin is done: his wife announced on his Telegram channel that Girkin was arrested this morning with the accusation of extremism.
Igor Girkin is a Russian army veteran and former Federal Security Service (FSB) officer who played a key role in the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation, and later the war in Donbas as an organizer of militant groups in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). Girkin participated in the murder of the 298 people on Malaysia Airlines Flight 17. He is also known as the Butcher of Sloviansk. In 2014, on his orders, Ukrainian civilians were summarily executed in the temporarily occupied city.
As a pro-war blogger, he is known for his strong criticism of the Kremlin and its army. Girkin has been allowed free rein to criticise for a long time, so it's unclear what really led the Russia's Investigative Committee to charge him at this point. Maybe Putler was mad at him. Girkin apparently called Putler a "lowlife" on his Telegram channel three days before his arrest. "The country will not be able to withstand another six years of this cowardly bum in power," Girkin had said.
According to Russian media, Girkin is charged with "appeals to extremism" because of two posts on Telegram about Crimea and non-payment of military personnel.
