If, after all the time and constancy to accumulate dias for 25 packs, I only got one game I don't have (Nimbatus) and mostly worthless and repeatedly repeated loot, without knowing how many keys will be duped, without even a $5 card, I would stop using LB immediately. I did more than 1 year ago. (Which doesn't explain why I keep an eye in this thread...)

Eh, I lived and suffered through it, so seeing its effects on something as inconsequential as a Steam gift card I got for free from a loot pack is the right kind of dark humor I find funny. It puts the absurdity of the numbers in perspective.
It's kinda like digging at random for a buried treasure just to actually find it by sheer dumb luck and then you open it and most of it rotted away because it was cash, except for the one coin that you get to keep. I can't help but laugh at accidental comedy.

Opened a Supreme Steam pack and got Dwarflings. The text says it's a code for Steam but at the bottom there was no Steam key, only a link to download the game from itch.io

A link as in a link to the game store page or a redemption link to add the game to your account? Because if it's the second there's a chance that you can get a Steam key from itch.io after you redeemed the game, although it's not that many games that support that.
But there's also the very real possibility that they just fucked up, it's not that rare for Lootboy.

I got dwarflings on itch as well, no Steam key. I think it's "normal". You get GOG keys all the time from Supreme Steam (~5-10% chance?). Not sure if there's a way to see if you get GOG or Steam when you're opening the pack so you can't just reroll when you get a non-steam key.

Welp, there goes my theory, it was a long shot after all. Still kinda disappointing that they incorrectly label those as Steam keys if they're actually for itch.io.
Also as far as I know there's no real way to know ifa key is for Steam or something else until you click on it to check. However at this point I just click on the button to turn the card into gems whenever I see Deponia 1 because otherwise just finding someone that wants a GOG key for that game is kinda challenging, apparently everyone already has it. For the other Daedalic games it's more likely to get a Steam key so I just keep it and even if it's a GOG key it's not that hard to find someone who'll take it.

Strictly speaking, the supreme Steam packs offer you a chance to get a Steam wallet code, hence its name but the pool of other games is the same, either a steam code (probably 75% of the time) or gog (mostly the Daedalic entertainment games) or in a small number of cases an itch.io redeem code. I've only ever got one of the itch.io codes. I believe there's a disclaimer somewhere but whether it is prominently visible anymore is another matter. It's a bummer if the reward page actually says Steam but with the site now less active than a zombie aerobics class there isn't much to be done 😢

I only open packs with diamonds, I save the 2500 diamonds for 25 packs (which is a saving of 25 diamonds per pack). Due to the quality of the games and the very low probability of getting credit for steam, it is not a good idea to buy packs with real money.

If you open packs on mobile device (not PC) there is an extra option to salvage the card. You need to decide at once - so i salvage all cards which give 0 points here.

If you get those packs that cost 2000 coins you can sometimes get a card for a few diamonds, usually 3 or 5, but in my experience it's one of those cards for every 20 to 40 packs opened, so get ready to do a lot of clicking/tapping. My suggestion is to do it on PC because it's much easier and faster to do it with a mouse.

In any case, you can find them in the main "packs" tab under the name "discovery pack", they're blue and light blue. You can get up to 25 packs per purchase to save a bit on clicking, but you still need to open them one at a time.
And yes, the inventory cleanup afterwards is so tedious that I don't bother too much, I currently have 5.2 million coins just sitting there.

Are you sure you're in the right area? It's in the top menu, left, says "quests". Once there, all the packs buyable with diamonds are below the actual quests.
The card says "you got", so you should have +125 diamonds already.
