What is your favorite genre of anime?
That list is awfully long and I don't watch many animes. I wanted to suggest Boku wa tomodachi ga sukanai since I really liked the final of season 2 but you've seen it already.
Hm, maybe Eyeshield 21. It is a manga/anime about american football. I only read the manga, it is pure epicness, very funny and has some very likeable characters and villains and villain characters. And you learn the rules of american football. The manga kicked in for me at the Death Marsh through America. But I don't how good the anime is in comparison to the manga.

I don't usually watch anime, but I'd recommend RWBY, it's not exactly an anime, it's an american animated series, but are heavily inspired by anime.
It's somewhere between Action and Magical Girl, and I'd recommend watching the 4 trailers beforehand (Red, White, Black, Yellow)
But sadly, the creator of said series passed away on 1st of February. There is no confirmation if it is going to continue, but there are some mentions on "continuing his work".
Also, that's a big ass list you got there

I'm glad to see someone's actually watched Kara No Kyoukai, it's one of my favorites along with like... Steins;Gate, I suppose. I see people already recommended Parasyte and Robotics;Notes, though those would have been among my bigger ones right now. Just... Keep in mind, Robotics;Notes tends to be a little more slow paced than Steins;Gate in my opinion.
So... With that in mind, perhaps Asura Cryin'? Sorry for not offering too much to the table that's new. Seeing as you're apparently a fan of Mirai Nikki, you might get a bit of a kick out of it. It can be equally over the top in places, and was pretty enjoyable to watch with my boyfriend at the time.

Yeah, it's pretty great.
Asura Cryin' seems like a very convoluted series, but I will need to check it out.
As for Mirai Nikki, its a fun and terrible series. I more so like Gasai Yuuno (yanderes are the best girls!) than the series, mainly due to the sheer amount of Deus ex Machina going on.
Anyways, thanks for the suggestion

They're fairly older, but Betterman and Those Who Hunt Elves are pretty good. The former is an interesting blend of mecha and horror while the latter is a fantasy action comedy sort of like Slayers.
Jinsei was a more recent school club comedy that I ended up enjoying. Nowhere near as good as D-Frag, but it still has its moments.
Comment has been collapsed.
Betterman looks a bit weird, not the best reviews. I will probably need to watch a trailer to decide if I should watch it.
Those Who Hunt Elves is great though, glad to see that people still remember it. I actually used it in my last anime puzzle.
Jinsei looks like a cute series, it's rating seems a bit weak. I'll watch it and see if it's underrated or not.
Thanks for the suggestions!

I also like romance and stuff!
Aoi Hana looks good, will watch.
Byōsoku Go Senchimētoru and The Girl who Leapt Through Time are ones I will be watching with a friend when he gets back. They've been on the backburner waiting.

Considering you liked most Kami Nomi and No Game No Life i recommend Amagami SS and Amagami SS Plus for being similar in most parts, also you can finish Kami Nomi with the Tenri-hen Ovas and Megami-hen (the other 2 ovas are irrelevant), of the recent ones take a look for Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki Kun and Yahari Oregairu (have a really long name xD, is known in english as My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU).
Comment has been collapsed.
Amagami SS looks fantastic, and has great reviews to boot. I will definitely watch it.
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki Kun is also super highly rated and looks fun.
Yahari Oregairu has a second season airing this year, so I'll probably hold off on that one for now.
Thanks for the suggestions!

I'd say Monster, but you've already watched that.
So instead I'll say:
Knights of Sidiona - if you like mecha / space opera
I've also started watching some of the Marvel Anime stuff, but need to see more before I can say if it's good stuff or not.

Summer Wars http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=6249
it start like school comedy/romance and its end is awesome.

I only have 1 recommendation seeing as you already watched almost everything.
The Big O - giant robots fighting each other, that is all I know since I only found it yesterday.

If you watch this, do yourself a favor and stick with the dub. It's one of the rare cases where it's better than the sub. This show was aimed very intentionally at Western audiences, to the point where Cartoon Network actually had to step in to fund the second season.
Also, my memory's a bit hazy, but I think that scene is indeed somewhat of a spoiler.

Angel Beats! is a must to watch.
SAO S1 first part was pretty good (forget second part), didn't watched S2 yet.
Shingetsutan Tsukihime nice old one (but a bit too short)
Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo
Ore no kanojo to osananajimi ga shuraba sugiru (OreShura for short name)
I heard a lot of good things about Suzumiya Haruhi series
Oda Nobuna no Yabou
Nodame Cantabile (which does have a drama besides to the anime); didn't watched S2 and S3 yet tho.
Eventually Accel World; same author as SAO, the hero is just…pathetic. But the anime still can be watched.
Probably forgot I many good ones, but…you does already have a nice list! :D
Comment has been collapsed.
I've watched most of these. I'll cover the ones I haven't seen.
Oda Nobuna no Yabou looks cute and funny, plus it will count towards my historical anime count.
Nodame Cantabile I talk about above in the thread.
Accel World looks decent. I will watch it eventually.
Thanks for the suggestions

Recently I watched Knights of Sidonia which has potentianl to be a good series (reading the manga while the waiting second season). It's about an enormous spaceship, the Sidonia, (the ony one which seems to have survived) used by humans to flee from Earth after a strange life form, named Gauna by scientists, attacked it.
The story takes place centuries after that event and sees, after many years with no signs of gaunas, the coming back of the menace of this strange life form capable to adapt and evolve after each encounter.
The protagonist is a young boy, Nagate Tanikaze, who lived with his granfather, isolated from the rest of the crew, in the maze of pipes under the main deck of the ship, training his skill in a mech (called Guardian, or knight) simulator. The story starts after his gramps death when Nagate, in search for foods, happens to fall in rice factory and meets other humans for the first time.
He doesn't know that his granfather was one of the best pilots and he have the same great talent so needed by the upcoming times, but the captain of the ship (a misterious woman who seems to know him) will give him the opportunity to prove his skills and all it begins, the next great challange for humanity.
In the story there will be some misteries (about the past and gaunas), mech stuff, a bit of harem comedy and drama, and I can hardly remember of any "dead" moment in its rithm.
The secon upcoming season should also add a lot of things.
Have fun =D

Well, wanted to post some titles but then I've searched your list for those and basically there are only few I wanted to suggest that are not on your list :P
Gintama (surprised you dont have this one, helluva good comedy anime with some "serious" episodes tho it starts out a lil slowly and I've started to enjoy this one after smth like 30-40 episodes)
Accel World
Tokyo Ghoul
Black Bullet
Mousou Dairinin (watch out for this one, it belongs to the "WTF is going on and what I've actually watched" genre)

If you like Log Horizon, you should watch .hack//SIGN. It's the progenitor of the "trapped in a game" shows, and it takes an even slower and more philosophical pace than Log Horizon. It's getting a bit old and isn't the easiest watch in the world, but definitely worth a shot if you're the kind of person who prefers the pace of Log Horizon to Sword Art Online.
Choujigen Game Neptune: The Animation isn't a landmark series by any means, but it's cute and funny and got me hyped to play Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 on Steam (which I still haven't been able to because it's so broken, grrrr). If you want a light-hearted comedy with some gaming references and don't mind a bit of fanservice, it's hard to go wrong with this one.
Ano Natsu de Matteru is a short, sweet romance with a tone and an art style that remind me a bit of Hanasaku Iroha. It's a spiritual successor and lightly connected to Onegai Teacher and Onegai Twins. Ano Natsu de Matteru is definitely my favorite of the three, but the other two are good as well. If you end up liking it, go back and watch the Onegai series (or even watch them before if you like old anime and want to catch the references).
Comment has been collapsed.
.//hack is a series I won't watch since you need to play the games inbetween each series for the full story. I don't have the time for that.
Hyperdimension Neptunia is one I will be watching even though the series isn't groundbreaking.
Ano Natsu de Matteru looks good, I'll need to watch it. Same with the Onegai series.
Thanks for the suggestions.

I am extremely picky when it comes to anime. I dislike 95% that I've seen, but the few I do like I really really enjoy. Most that I like have been mentioned, but I didn't see a couple of my favorites by Makoto Shinkai:
Children Who Chase Lost Voices
The Garden of Words
I may have overlooked them...

Recommendations of this season:
lov sport related animes like yowamushi no pedal, ace of diamond, kuroko, baby steps (those are "new" anime series), I'm skipping the classic Captain Tsubasa (soccer one) and Slam Dunk (basketball one)
shingeki no kyojin ( just 1st season available ) good plot the famous giant series ^^
This season surprise "Kantai Collection" good fan service, + some weird but good plot.
Hope you can see some of those or take them into account for a near future

Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting! - New Challenger. Great sports (boxing) show.

Although I have watched many mind changing, plot twisting and overall interesting animes, I really like Shounens (I guess you listed them as action animes). I really like One Piece, I see you have already watched that, but you should continue on. It's fun.
But what I wanted to suggest you (it's on your plan to watch list, but I dunno if you really plan to watch it. I have 100+ animes on my plan to watch :D) is a cooking show. It's Toriko! It's series about gourmet age, the age of seeking new ingredients and tastes. It's very random, there are superpowered humans, animals and foods. It's hilarious!
Don't be afraid of the amount of series, it is not obligated to watch them in one sitting or something. Watch it as a comedy and try to accept the dull humor it offers. I hope this gets you interested!
Comment has been collapsed.
I will be watching the rest of One Piece once it finishes. I stopped at the time skip to let the series continue, and then I'll continue from there.
Toriko is one that I've only heard bad things about. Apparently it's interesting for a bit, but it gets boring after a little while. Should I still check it out?
Thanks for the suggestion

Uhh, I dunno. I really watch shounens for entertainment. Many people claim that filler episodes are ruining anime, but I quite enjoy them. Let me grasp more the anime world the characters are in. I find toriko very entertaining, but I too have heard that many people dislike it :D
There are plenty of other great suggestions, so I wouldn't state this anime as a priority for you.

Well you liked Mawaru Penguindrum, and if you like Revolutionary Girl Utena, you should probably go for the latest Ikuhara work, Yurikuma Arashi. It's a currently airing show, so with your rule of waiting for those to finish it should give you some time to get through Utena.

Not sure if u like sport genres, but i recommend Kuroko no Basket and One Outs . Also checkout Kaiji.

The Vision of Escaflowne (1994)
The series follows a teenage high school girl named Hitomi, who finds herself pulled from Earth to the planet Gaea when a boy named Van appears on the high school track while battling a dragon. In Gaea, she is caught in the middle of a war as the Zaibach Empire attempts to take over Gaea. Van (King of Fanelia), with aid from Allen (an Asturian Knight), commands his mystical mech Escaflowne in the struggle to stop the Zaibach Empire. Hitomi's fortune telling powers blossom in Gaea as she becomes the key to awakening Escaflowne and to stopping Zaibach's plans.
Tokyo Ghoul
The story of Tokyo Ghoul follows Ken Kaneki, who barely survives a deadly encounter with Rize Kamishiro, a woman who is revealed to be a ghoul, a human-like creature that hunts and devours human flesh, and is taken to the hospital in critical condition. After recovering, Kaneki discovers that somehow he underwent a surgery that transformed him into a half-ghoul, and just like them, must consume human flesh to survive as well. With no one else to turn to, he is taken in by the ghouls who manage the coffee shop "Anteiku", who teach him to deal with his new life as a half-human/half-ghoul, including interacting with ghoul society and its conflicting factions, while striving to keep his identity secret from other humans.
Eureka, Another, Trinity Seven, Angel Beats, Arpeggio of Blue Steel, Accel World, B Gata H kei, Maken-Ki!, High School DxD, HOTD, Sword Art Online, Strike the Blood, Psycho-Pass, Freezing, Sekirei, Elfen Lied....
Comment has been collapsed.
I'll comment on the ones I haven't already mentioned or watched.
The Vision of Escaflowne looks like a great Sunrise series. I'll need to watch it.
Arpeggio of Blue Steel looks pretty cool, I'll probably wait for the new movie to air first before watching it.
Thanks for the suggestions!

So I have been watching a lot of anime, and I have started to hit a brick wall. I don't really know what to watch, and I've already been through many of the top-ranked lists. So I thought that I would come to the wonderful people of SG for some help! Feel free to recommend some things, and a quick explanation of why people should watch it would be great!
I have a MAL list of all the things I have watched and what I rated them. Although it would be lovely to rewatch things I have already seen, it would be better to find new and exciting things to view.
Also I'm sure you all came in for the giveaways rather than out of the kindness of your heart. People who mention a show that I haven't watched and explain why I should watch it will be added to my whitelist. These lucky people will be allowed to join a bunch of bundle giveaways, and then will be promptly dropped from my whitelist after the giveaways finish. I might also be putting up an anime puzzle in here when I have the time, so even those who haven't watched anime but love to use their google-fu can enjoy.
Anyways, thank you for your assistance! Lets all enjoy anime together!
TLDR: Give me recommendations not on this list and explain why, I give you games and love.
EDIT: Wow, that was a large response. I'll try to get through everyone and respond to all of your posts, and then I'll whitelist everyone and create some giveaways. Check back in probably 5ish hours and I should have everything ready by then. Thanks for all of the support and recommendations!
EDIT2: After responding to four and a bit pages of recommendations, I need a break. I'll be back in an hour or so, hang tight. Giveaways should still be up when I said they would be, never fear.
EDIT3: Back for more commenting. Hopefully I can get to the bottom of this thread.
EDIT4: Finally made it to the bottom! I'll add everyone to my whitelist now and then post up the giveaways.
EDIT5: Whitelist giveaways are now up. They are all cheap bundle games, but I hope people still are interested.
Giveaway 1
Giveaway 2
Giveaway 3
Giveaway 4
Giveaway 5
EDIT6: Giveaways are over, and I'll be closing this thread. Thank you everyone for the suggestions!
