Just to clarify that: It's not going to switch to a B2P model, instead it's going to adopt the model EVE and Wildstar use and give you a way to buy gametime for ingame currency in addition to continuing the normal subscription model.
How feasible it's going to be to pay for a subscription with gold remains to be seen.
